Suman's mehendi. Nirmala notices Shravan looking at Suman & says to herself 'kuch theek nahin lag raha hai'. Suman looks away from Shravan & smiles at Adi while Shravan looks down. Adi asks Shravan how Suman's hand is looking. He has written his full name Aditya in caps on Suman's hand. Shravan is standing like one angry young man at the entrance. Aditya rubs it in that he is going to add his name to Suman's life - like everything & soon she will be Suman Aditya Ahuja. Shravan walks away in anger. Nirmala notes Aditya's smile & Shravan walking away. She wonders that something is going on btw Aditya & Shravan, thats why Aditya was worried.

Mamiji asks Shravan to put the gifts in Suman's room. Shravan is sad. He looks around her room after placing the gifts. And looks at their childhood pic. He can't take it & puts it down. Nirmala comes in.

Shravan tries to walk away but Nirmala stops him. She requests him to not fault Aditya & not do anything to hurt Suman & Aditya's relationship. This is all done by destiny. She tells him that she knows its a tough time for him given Aditya is her son & Suman is her best friend. She tells him that she has noticed the tension between Aditya & Shravan. She tells him to leave the wedding & leave Aditya & Suman alone..and not ruin their relationship. Shravan is almost teary & tells her that so this is what you call a mother pleading for her son. He says that he doesn't understand her talks at all because he never had a mother to explain to him. He apologizes & walks away. Nirmala thinks to herself that she knows that Shravan hates her but she hopes that she will listen to his request. She knows that his heart is warm inside even though he appears cold.
