She has faced it all...
*At a very young age, she suffered the loss of her parents.
*She never got the love and caring from her mother in her teen years, the years which are one of the most crucial in a girls life. Yes she had her extended family there for her but no one gave her that kind of love except nanu...
*Nanu had been her anchor whilst she was growing up as well as Shravan, yet she was too young and naive to recognise Shravans worth in her life at that point.
*Once Shravan had left ,she felt the pain once again. As its been said before "You don't know what you have until it's gone". That's when she truly realised what she felt for him. Thats when she realised a part of her is missing. Thats when she realised she loved him. But..it was too late. Her love story had ended before it could even begin.
*Years went by, she stayed faithful, she was true to her love. Everyday, he would've came to her mind. Everyday she would've thought about him. The way she had treated him, and the and of guilt would've hit her hard. Everyday she would realise how much she loves him. Everyday, she would've thought if he ever even thought about her...missed her like she missed him everyday.
*10 years later, he returned. The emotions she would've felt when she found out he was returning. The excitement and butterflys in her stomach just thinking about seeing him after 10 years.
*Only to get treated like utter shit. To be felt she was nothing to him. To be felt she was no one. To be forgotten. To be hurt by the one who she loves the most.
*Then going back to basics. Being friends again. Falling in love with him even more. Caring about his happiness.
*Then being the happiest girl ever, by finding out he once felt the same for her.
*In the admist of trying to find out whether he still feels for her the same way the biggest hurdle appears. Which causes her to nearly lose her friendship with him.
*Due to the differences between Ramnath and Nirmala, and her trying to make a son and mother reunite...she nearly loses it all. It built a wall between them. Most importantly it got Ramnath irked.
*She then got caught up between her love for her sister, a father and sons relation, and the biggest of all her relationship with Shravan.
*Choice. Decision. Sacrifice. or should I say the ultimate sacrifice.
*She chose her family, after all they had one so much for her.
*She chose to not break a father and sons relationship because she couldn't bear Shravan going through that emotional turmoil again.
*She chose to sacrifice her own love, her own life, her own happiness for him.
*Dying inside little by little everyday when she ignored him.
*Then nanu's health detoriating and him in a sense of emotional blackmailing, got her to agree for the marriage with Aditya.
*Once again, she chose her family. She chose to keep her nanu happy and fulfil his wish due to his condition. How could she say no?
*She knew it was wrong. It was wrong as to what she was doing. But she didn't want to be selfish. She always put others happiness before her own. Going out of her way to make Preeti's wedding possible no matter how many insults and arguments she had to bear in the way. She agreed to Ramnath so that Preeti and Pushkar can get married happily. So that Ramnath and Shravans relationship stay intact. She knew sacrificing her love was wrong, her love which she had waited to reconnect with for over 10 years. Only to flush it down for others happiness.
*And while, while she was going through the emotional rollercoaster, the one who she loved most ..misunderstood her the most. To be put down for having self-respect. Self-respect which she did have, but as the biggest coverup for all the sacrifices she had made for her loved ones.
*Being emotionally blackmailed into marrying someone she had no interest in what so ever. Being told by her one and true love that to keep her to be husband happy. To keep him happy in the bedroom. Ouch. How would she have felt? To be degraded in such a way? To be actually understood as someone who is willing to get with a guy she had just known for few days.
*Feelings. How would she have felt? Hurt. Pain. Anger. Frustration. Annoyance. Disgusted. Helpless.
*He calls her Sumo, because she is like a Sumo who never turns down a battle and is ready to fight head on. But right now, she is dying on the inside, she is slowly losing the biggest battle of her life.
I really do feel for Sumo. My heart goes out to her. ❤️
