It's #EDKV100 time and this is my small ode to this serial, with which I laughed, cried, jumped, danced - in short we all have LIVED this show. So, I think no one will disagree with me if I say this is the most 'Hatke' unique show which has broken or rather REDEFINED clichd scenes for us, will you? Let's have a look! Summarising some of the most brilliantly executed things till date -
1) The Suman - Sumo Effect :
One of the first highlights that caught our eyes was 'The Sumo Effect'. Here is a Female Lead who's lively, independent, speaks her mind and is Bindass!😎
We thoroughly enjoyed her dialouge, namely, the most popular :
- "Ae Chaman!!! Mere hi gaadi Mili thi Marne ke liye?"
- "Pata Nahi khata kya hai?" , While desperately trying to move Shravan
- "Gugloo ji, I Love You" 🤣
- Entering rooms without knocking and then shouting on the consequences 😆😉
- The Epic Pushpa Scene 🤣
- Her toilet woes 😆
- Returning the cheque and bombarding Ramu and kicking some sense into his useless brain😛
2) The Sasur Bahu Saga - Wondering that it isn't fun without a cruel to- be -Saas? Well , then don't coz we have our very own to be Sasurji to fill up that vamp space. Highly obsessed with his Son, this Sasur will do any manipulation to get his Bahu off!😆
Ramu Kaka ki Jai Ho!🤬
3) Saas Bahu Goals - Kamini and Vandy undoubtedly make the cutest and liveliest Saas Bahu on-screen. They're inseparable buddies unlike other Tashan ones who can't get enough of fighting!😆
4) RaMini Special - When Ramini is here, we do get a tough fight for the most romantic couple of the show🤣
On a serious note, on which show do you get a Devar Bhabhi pairing?😆😉
5) Brainy Lead - Not sure about the current scenario (Brain goes missing)😆 but we can't completely ignore the brains our Oxford Grad has! Remember the Urvashi Engagement? What Swag in refusing her! And then the Khosla case? No one could have managed better than our 6"4' Lambu😆
6) The Swaggy Dialogues - Shravan is popular for his heavy dose one liners and also for mocking at Chachi, where usually others stay shut. Memorable ones are -
- Sasti Cheezon ka shauk bhi nahi😎
- Manhandling ka bhi case thonkna!😆
- The 3 Bs to Khosla😛
- Tum Jo bhi karti Ho, usse dard hota hai
- Aaj kal main thokar par thokar khaa raha Hoon
7) Tom And Jerry - ShraMan may be lovers, but for me they are FRIENDSHIPS GOALS . The highlight of the show is their bickering and chases, akin to Tom And Jerry. And that's how Ek Duje Ke Vaaste is special and the leads have their own life and aren't madly in love! (Not too sure, again😉)
8) The Goon Fight - Still I can't control my laughter when I come across that scene. "Teri Maa ko halwa khilaaon" still makes me roll🤣
An Epic fight scene indeed!😆
9) The Dal Tale - Which show has emphasised so much on Dal? To the extent that we started hating Dal, this dish had us howling and pulling hair. So much for it, huh?🤬🤣
EDKV is a milestone in Indian Television with a fresh and realistic take to the most regular takes. It has made him fall in love with 'Love' and I can't imagine life without seeing this! A masterpiece with a masterclass, I feel lucky to be able to see this show. Amazing and brilliant indeed.
