Actually Ram has acted poorly in Shrav's case due to his own insecurities...else he has been a gud father...I won't comment on his relationship with Nir which is ofc out there and providing everything that Nir said is right...it leaves a lot to be desired as partners...but I don't think the serial intends to paint anyone with very dark colors...All characters have their gud and bad moments...That has been the beauty of this serial...

does shravan realise why his dad is so cunningly posessive of him.that even if he meets hs mother by mistake he gets disturbed. to the extent he wants him to break the relation with the girl who made them meet. i mean the girl dosent know the complete dynamics and shravans hate for his mother. It could have been a harmless gesture. Shravan wud have met and later just forgotten about it. If nirmala is so wrong why would shravan go back to her. but the way ramnath has dealt with this matter is enough to raise questions. Shravan seems very intelligent to me. wonder why he dosent see something wrong with his dad asking him not to meet sumo just because she made him meet his mother once

I'm sure Ramnath will come around but Kamini is the one to watch out for

I think its just awesome of Shra to tell his dad first. he doesnt want him to be insecure. and he wants to assure him that their equation hasnt changed. he doesnt want to do anything at the cost of this relationship which is only fair. and it is fair he said this to ramu before telling suman. it tells ramu of his own importance in shar's life, it doesnt create a situation where sumo starts hoping and then ramu kaka says no, and shra has proved his good upbringing and total loyalty to both well and truly.
