Hey guys.
So I was listening to one of my favourite songs, a Sonu Nigam pop song (high five to any of you who have heard it and like it😳😃) It's Mohabbat kabhi maine ki toh nahin thi. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YqnuRtShRI
And at the beginning of this song, there is a kind of a shayari thing, with the guy expressing his feelings before singing. And for some reason this reminded me so much of ShraMan and Shravan's feelings. I don't know if you guys will feel the same, but here goes:
O jaan-e-jaan yeh sach hain ki
Mein apni mohabbat ka izhaar
Kabhi khul ke na kar saka
Magar meri aankhen
Hamesha meri dil ki haalat batati rahi hain
Aur tu hain ke mujhse bekhabar aaj bhi hain
Mere dil ki har dhadkan sirf tera naam leti hain

This reminded me of Shravan because he has never expressed his love for her openly. Yes we have seen it through his eyes and small gestures but he has never expressed it openly although he has loved her for a span of over 10 years!! And like in the words above where the girl is oblivious and clueless to the guys feelings, our Sumo was unaware of Shravan's feelings until the letter incident. At this point, after his " I have moved on", she is confused and needs to hear it from him even if indirectly (through Pushkar) on what he feels for her as his actions and words are contradicting each other...
Anyway,

Sirf tera naam"
is Shravan Malhotra and the state of his heart and mind and soul!!!
