When NiRam separated, Shravan was what 15? 16?
If the matter was about custody, she should have agreed to let him be with his father for two years but not let him go entirely.
So what if Ramnath threatened? She was, no, is the mom. She should have explained things to Shravan once.
But she let him go.

Just a thought.

I think in real life...a mother will fight till her last breath to get her child...especially mothers who care about their children...like Nirmala does for her son!!!

Or maybe...if I was in her shoes...I would!! Aise hi nahi maine janam diya tha usko...to just let him go!! Par then there would be no story!! So that's why I say...we need to hear more about Nirmala's pov!! Otherwise to me...a mother leaving and not contacting her son ever seems a bit abnormal...especially even after the son has become an adult!!

Yes this confrontation might bring that issue to fore. May be that's where nirmala is at fault that she got bogged down by ramnaths threats. I find that pretty realistic. It can happen at the spur of the moment u might end up taking wrong decisions. But what I don't understand is why she never bothered to find out how his son is in all these years. How was she so sure that ramnath was taking good care of him?

Both parents r at fault. They forgot about Shravan in their fights. It was all about them and their egos. Somewhere both of them were selfish.
They didn't realize that all Shravan wanted was love ,nothing else. But all he got was isolation and pain.

Yesss...agree!! Aisi koi majboori nahi ho sakti jiske liye you do not keep in touch with your son!! Especially true for an independent woman like Nirmala!!

She gave up so easily, as if he was not her son. She could have contacted him anytime. After he turned 18 years of age he wasn't liable to anyone. She could have put forth the facts and then let him decide and Ramnath out of guilt sent him to London thinking that if he would give Shravan all the best things in life it would make up for how he stole his mother's love from him and deceived him by telling lies.
Feel bad for Shravan.

Bechara Shravan...always at the receiving end of all the wrath!! He is one person who really needs a lot of love in life!! I guess this would just make Sumo and Shravan's story so much more passionate!!
