What is the significance of these lines?

"Galati mujh se hui hai, na main tumhe samjha sakta hoon aur na tum samaj paaogi."

Friendship revive karna galati thi.

Sumo should leave him alone for sometime and give him space.

i dont think he meant reviving friendship was a galati .. i think he meant his inability to keep his distance from sumo emotionally .. keeping his love at bay , far from conscious mind .. fact tht he has no control on his feeling .. that is his mistake

moreover sumo is being as same as before his dilemma .. 😆

He doesn't know sumo has read the letter and that she had feelings for him. All he knows is his past from which he has emerged out with gray difficulty and if he falls the second time it will be harder for him to recover. It's natural for some one who is hurt top react like that. I did feel extremely bad for sumo.especiallg when she asked him if he could go late for the meeting. And he was curt.

He basically doesn't wanna make the same mistake of falling in love with her and facing rejection although she hadnt rejected him the last time, there are painful memories with it. Little does he know she loves him too and there is fire from both sides 😆

His mistake which he is saying is that he is again falling for her and he has already friend zoned her so he is saying that and last of his dialogue says that only na man samjha paunga na tum samajh paogi because he doesn't know that she has read the letter and she is also in love with him
