...raaste, kaise chunegi Suman ek duje ke vaste?
This line struck a chord with me, the first time I saw the promo of this show. It was awesome to say the least, finally here was a show dealing with an interesting concept of love vs. self-respect. In Indian shows, we often see the female lead sacrificing her self-respect and dignity for her so-called "family" but Sumo is a kick-ass character who will always uphold her self-respect even in the darkest hours.

So, my question is: What will Suman eventually choose? Self-respect or Shravan?

Hey good to see you here! And yep through concept of the show is really what separates it from the rest, a romance that's more than just look-look-hawa-hawa & trip-fall-catch. As for your question, I think the point they're trying to make with ShraMan I'd that you don't have to choose, and by showing the failed relationship of Ramnath and Nirmala (due to Ramnath of course), they're showing a stark contrast between a relationship that couldn't make it work and one that will.

I so hope so. I can even get to think myself that Shravan will somehow make her chose between these two.

Unless of course someone else creates a situation.

I really think that these two are NOT mutually exclusive concepts...
Love, in its truest form, must include respect for the other as well... How can you love someone you don't respect? And how can you insult someone (or hurt their atma samman) if you love them? i know it probably sounds simplistic, but to me, that's what it boils down to...
As for Ramnath and Nirmala's relationship, their EGOs played a major role in destroying their marriage. Ramnath played the starring role for sure, but it wasn't just Nirmala choosing her atma-samman over love... It strikes me as strange that the educated, independent woman that she was never tried to connect with her son.
But this is where the ShraMan relationship will be different. Yes they fight (like hell!) but we've seen their relationship grow in leaps and bounds. Now they don't let their egos come in between... the nastiest of fights get patched up within a day... that's how a healthy relationship should be, right?

Any relationship "Respect" to each other very important...otherwise it fails as we hv seen in Ramanath - Nirmala..from Respect to your partner comes Trust...if trust n respect r nt there then that is not love...u can low ur ego but not respect...Suman will choose Self-Respect..if Shravan doesn't able to respect her..then he is not able to be her Partner..vice versa...

Preach!!! I feel Shraman will learn from Nirmala and Ramnath's mistakes, and I really hope she does not have to choose. Of all the relationships on TV, Shraman are the most realistic one❤️ I really hope Suman and Shravan accept and respect each other before commencing on their journey together...This respect is really important from Shravan, his preconceived idea about women needs to wither before Shraman become ek dude ke vast😳
