Hats off!! Word! I had a tweensy weensy doubt regarding shravan's suddenly changed behaviour but ur post cleared it all. Thank u 🤗 .
And yes this is the same shravan who insulted sumo in the reunion party but in yesterday's episode despite being pissed at sumo he replied her msgs. He could have just switched off his phone but no. Like a true gentleman he pulled the chair for her. We saw the glimpses of both teenage and adult shravan at the same time...kudos to edkv team ,they never miss a single thing..and that is what keeps us glued to TV screen at 10 pm
😊

Ghanna you said it all ⭐️ wonderful read 👏
Shravan is still same, I don't see it as a character change, but rather a different shade of him which we are seeing . As I was telling in another post, Human emotions are not one dimensional, or static, they are dynamic and multi layered.. you put someone in a situation, they react to it in a certain way, an amalgamation of how one reacts to different situations in one's life and how sorted he is, becomes is character and not just one situation, one reaction which can seal that person's character .

I like the subtleness with which his character is written, like he thinks women are selfish and manipulative, but he still respects them, doesn't cross line with them. He tries to put them down, with his intellectual sarcastic lines and a fake smile on his face ...(giving flowers to kitty ladies,) but that's harmless.

He was hurt twice by two most important people in his life, both being women. That disappointment, upset,. the judgmental views are all justifiable and reasonable. I wouldn't say he hates women , he doesn't .. but he is being defensive, by making such comments.. like building a wall of defense around himself, trying not to get close to any woman, only to be hurt and left by them later.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me,,, he is pretty much following this, .. he is hurt not once, but twice.. shouldn't he be careful and cautious ? Atleast when riding a bike,. I make sure to be safe than sorry .. after falling couple of times initially.. He doesn't want to be supposedly get fooled by woman again and again , he is safeguarding himself from any incurring future disasters or pain or humiliation or heartbreaks .

And I personally feel , it's justifiable, knowing Shravan, he has everyone, but at the same time he has no one to support him.. in such situations he has to safe guard himself and that is what he is doing .. when he said he doesn't want to get married... and had they left the matter there.. we wouldn't have witnessed this side of his.. but family members still tried to persuade and convince him into marrying which triggered his bottled up emotions.. he has to give the actual reason for his denial .. and the straightforward person he is , he said it all in one go .

This extreme, opinions of Shravan regarding women is all sudden, shocking and something new for us, but the situation in which he is at the moment is also new for him.. . Even in the past, with Urvashi,, he compared her to his mom and left.. ..but this time around,.. it was triggered by Suman, hence the reaction is even more profound .

For me, it's just another layer to Shravan's character.., which was shown until, but came out in certain situation. Just like we are not the same self in all situations.. and react differently to different situations ... so did he and that doesn't make it his base character. .. it rains only in monsoons... not before , not after.. this side of him is shown only now, not earlier, not later and we have to experience all seasons.. ermm all situations in these characters .

He is taking his anger and emotional turmoil out on all the wrong things and wrong people. I feel his emotions are a bit all over the place right now especially because such an issue was just triggered. Doesn't make him right at all! But makes sense why he is behaving so intensely.

May I add a bit here, !!

I found that comment by Shravan quite natural, like it happens quite often at my place..(I only say.. prove it in the kitchen and there ends their boasting of male chefs are better) Shravan's statement for me was quite amusing, child like and more casual tone...like it's been a point of argument over so many generations if men are better cooks or women ?? ask any man.. they just say "men are better chefs" and give example from Mahabharat times.. and I do agree to an extent with the fact that most of the prominent chefs are male..

coming back to Shraman, his statement was just to make a point to Suman..he loved dal sooo much ... that he thought it;s world's best dal .. and when Pushkar made Suman to seal a stamp of approval on Shravan's claims that it's world's best dal... he expected and thought Suman would definitely agree with him as well, .but quite contrary to his expectations she said "achchi hain ". meaning he lost that unsaid little battle ..over opinions regarding dal...

When I say this is fabulous. I also want everyone to agree to it.. more so if she is my best buddie, irrespective of the fights we had. I want her to say .." it's fabulous , outstanding".. that's human psychology ,, while here she just said "achchi hain " and this guy has to counter her understatement with his ..."men are the best chefs in the world"

these two have fought for last couple of days in the show and haven't talked about it or cleared it .. and it's just continuing , be it with his "K" and "tum aurat nahin ho kya" and then the sarcastic "aayiye.. bhaitiye" even this men are better is also on the same lines..

Agreed! Awesome post🤗
I'm not saying I support shravan's belief... it's dead wrong but it's about perspective..
As a child he was scarred terribly..
He grew up watching his parents fight, that's no environment for sound development.. his mother left and the next thing his father does is show him what infidelity looks like.. which father does that? And then to top it he packed him off to London when he needed support the most.. basically his support mechanism crumbled.. his best friend, his love didn't care about his situation.. experiences and hatred stemmed in the childhood of a person have terribly deep roots.. his views won't change overnight . . He will realise eventually and that will be his undoing.. but it's going to take a lot of effort and a lot of eye opening...
In the mean time .. I'm enjoying the show.. loving the intesity👏

Hi all! Don't u all feel that somebody who has been shown to be areal cool , sorted out , mature guy ( he had some issues with women , I agree), has suddenly turned into a aggressive , chauvinistic male lead .!!!!. He seems like two different persons. Suman also has become suddenly hyper!!! Aisa lag raha hai naye characters as Gaye hain!!! Actually I am getting so emotional bcoz I am a busy doctor and watched only this serial bcoz I thought it was very nice and totally worth my time. I really want it to be as good as its earlier episodes warna it wil be a little heartbreaking for me 😭 , anyway I hope future episodes wil be better!!!

Why is everybody interested in love story only? Why Shravan is being labelled an MCP. The real MCP in this would come out to be Ramnath.
I think they are trying to show how and why Shravan has become like this. Just rewind Monday's episode. Parents bickering all the time. Ramnath , a lawyer with no income. Wife working to give the best to son but that becomes a bone of contention.

Mother leaves w/o giving any reason to the son , son rushes to his best friend, but is turned away by her (she had her own demons which she revealed during the Khosla case). Felt betrayed by two women he loved the most. Saw everything from Ramnath's POV. Never got to see the other side of the problem.

Now friendship is where two people having different view points learn to respect each other. In my opinion, though it may be taxing on the friendship, but Sumo will definitely try and help bring mother and son closer by getting their misunderstandings cleared and hence changing Shravan's views about women. She will 'not just move on. Shemay share her feelings for Shravan with his mom only.
