FORGIVENESS
It has been only a day since she and shravan had that fight but for her it felt like ages .How rudely he asked her to leave. His anger was intimidating. She had tried to explain but he refused to listen. Helplessly she left from there. As soon as she reached her car, warm liquid rolled down her cheeks. She couldn't believe he was the same sweet inocent boy she had grown with. She knew he had trust issues when it came to woman but how could he categorize her as he did other selfish manipulating woman.
She accepted that whatever stunt she had pulled that day was wrong and very immature but she had no intention of hurting him deliberately. How can he think of her like this?? Even in her weirdest dream she can never imagine of manipulating and hurting him. She knew that due to his mother's past deeds he never trusted any woman but that doesn't give him the right to insult women in general. She wasn't a sexist but for heavensake everyone has a self respect. He even told her stay out of his way when it comes to his personal matters or else this friendship won't survive. How dare he put their friendship at stake...that too for his predecided notions regarding women...Didn't he propose the idea of lifetime friendship on the terrace. He said that friendship is the most beautiful feeling in this world. Now where has that feeling disappeared?? All that for a stupid mistake she made...He was a smartass lawyer but he refused to listen her side of story. She made a mistake but don't we all when we are in love... He could have at least heard her what she had to say...but no why would he... She felt angry, sad and heartbroken
She cried and cried all night till sleep consumed her. Next day she woke up by the sound of nanu calling her. She freshened up and went to take a look into the mirror. God!!! She looked like shit with dark circles, sore and puffy eyes. She tied her hair in a bun and left hurriedly downstairs. "Nanu aapne bulaya mujhe???" She asked serving him tea. Sipping his tea he replied,"Han wo ek file deni hai Ramnath ko. Wo hai nhi to tu shravan ko hi de aa, wo de dega." She didn't feel like meeting him. She even avoided his phone calls but how can she say no to nanu, so she simply nodded.
Shravan was sitting in his room playing with his breakfast for past 30 minutes. He didn't feel like doing anything. Suman has been avoiding him like plague. She never attended his phonecalls. He replayed that incident in his mind," Auratein matlabi Aur khudgarj hoti hain. Dusro ko manipulate krke apna Matlab nikalna janti hain. Jarur tumhara bhi koi Matlab rha hoga tabhi tumne aisa kiya. Meri bachpan ki dost ho iska ye Matlab nhi mere personal matters me interfere krogi." She tried to speak but he cut her off and barked" just leave". As soon as the words left his mouth he immediately regretted them but before he could stop her she had already left crying.. He felt guilty to be the cause of her tears. But what can he do this girl always managed to bring the worse in him. He never intended to pour all the frustration hatred he felt for his mother on her, but he couldn't help it at that time. Why did she have to go and suggest my marriage that too straight to my father. She knew how I felt for women.
He was lost in his thoughts when someone knocked his door. Getting up to open the door he thought who could be at this hour. He was shocked to see suman standing there with a file. But why the hell she knocked that was something out of her usual behaviour. Suman cleared her throat to gain his attention and said,"Wo actually nanu ne file bhijwayi thi wahi dene ayi hu, sorry for disturbance." Handing him the file she turned to leave only to be stopped by shravan," Sumo ruko to sahi, naraj ho mujhse. I am extremely sorry for that day . I wanted to apologise right there but couldn't muster the courage. I shouldn't have snapped at u. Plzzz forgive me. It won't happen again. "
Her heart melted hearing his sincere apology but she soon composed herself. She wasn't going to forgive him that easily. She turned to face him, directly looking into his eyes,"As a friend I have already forgiven u but as a woman u have to do a lot more to earn my forgiveness." Seeing his fallen face she said ,"Don't worry itni asani se tumhari jaan ni chhodungi... But tumhe mere liye kuch krna hoga". Shravan face lit Iike 200 watt bulb. "I'll do anything u say"
Sumo smirked evilly n said," To bachchu taiyar ho jayo Priya catering centre me kam krne k liye wo bhi pure 1 mahine". Shravan was horrified by the mere thought of working in the kitchen surrounded by too many females.. Hell he found difficult to handle one sumo , how is he going to handle 10 females!!!! But he will do anything in his power to earn her forgiveness. So he smiled n said,"Anything for u mam..."
