True 2/3 episodes so we could breath a little too.
So, you are thinking daal tasting happens first and then the fight. Ok, then fight would make more sense. Thank you Chick.

R!🤗

Such clarity of thoughts, as usual! 😉

Regarding comparison with the prev show...I watch only the last ten minutes religiously every day...that is all the patience I have for it..and very soon, I am sure I won't even give that much time.

What I meant to say is..

1. The deadline waala feel...They should have given more time between the crash and the marriage card...Sumo needs a breather...One day could have bee spent easily as an episode while Shraman got back to (N)...Instead, we had the old lady rushing in the very next morning with her nonsense.

2. Monologues from Sumo at least..I am not exactly talking about toying with telephone or looking at the moon...They do give us her monologues...would help if the used it more to smoothen the track...

I don't have a problem with her character...but I feel the CVs should have taken this deadline slow...First she was running to make sure she gets to know, before he went back..now she has to know before she is married off...huge pressure! 😆 Let her take some rest! 😆

Shravan's reasons for keeping the letter...

He cannot stand it when she flirts with Gogol even if he is as insignificant as an ant...Shravan says he has moved on? I would say, HE THINKS he has moved on! He doesn't need to fall in love again..He did, at her parent's house...when he reached out to touch her...he fell head over heels all over again...just that he had convinced himself over ten years that he WOULD NEVER be in that vulnerable situation again...with whomever!

His reasons for keeping teh letter- A guy who has moved on and wants to be FRIENDS with a girl, would never keep that letter- That would be INSULTING FRIENDSHIP...because obviously, he values her more as a friend...I would think he doesn't know it...

He is only happy to go groom hunting...because he is EAGER to convince himself that it is only friendship...he is so blind to his own feelings, that he can't even see hers.

Let us see where the story takes this. 😊

I so agree with this post so much
CVS u really need to slow the hell down !!!!
I'm getting a head ache trying to keep up with the pace of Sumo's supposedly falling in love ( wait when did that happen?😔).

Oh right - the writers speed through that part so fast that I missed it !!

Falling in love has stages - please let's slow down and have both lead characters sit alone and have some quiet moments to themselves.

Sumo's child-like behaviour and Shravan's denial has been delved and talked about in this forum and I shall not discuss further. But there was one more important scene which will tell you how they might respond in the future. Shravan's car was blocking her car.. she couldnt go outside and he couldnt come inside. His car was facing outside while Sumo's inside.
Parked in the opposite directions.. yet both the occupants are required to come together on a plane of mature understanding if their love story is to flourish. To a certain extent, this was shown yesterday. Sumo hopped over to his car while he was the first one to say.. come over.
They need to grow wise, move beyond their past mistakes, their inadequacies in life and break through their child-like defence mechanisms to espouse what is their in their hearts.
Pain is inevitable in their journey right now but a necessary part in their journey towards love and life with each other.

Also, one more thing.. in yesterday's episode Nanu said to Sumo that he shall find a groom who will enable her to fulfill her dreams. Something which I do believe Ramnath was not being able to have done with respect to his marriage.
Will Shravan be able do it.. fulfill her dreams?Answer is yes... why? Go back to the Khosla episode and see the way he solved the case. He reclaimed her whole identity. And his car was facing outward.. he will take Sumo away from the morass of misery which might lock her up sometime in the future.
But, before he managed to solve the Khosla case to her satisfaction, he did fail. So, Shravan Malhotra will fail only to rise like a phoenix😉
Also, Pushkar wondered to Sumo about the intensity of his passion when he does fall in love... my response to this, the formulation of his thought was wrong. The intensity of his love for his father was brought into open only when he realized he had lost him... Sumo's love can only be registered in the open when Shravan would have felt he has lost her. I used the word "felt", btw... like his father Sumo shall come back to his life. How, when and Why... can only be answered if we keep on watching this show😆😉😃

@sanfan.. yes, the one dialogue I missed was Lalaji-Shravan convo. Why did the CVS skip it? I would have loved to see his reactions while speaking to Lalaji. Are they going to show it sometime later in the future? I believe Lalaji will be shown as remembering this conversation and then analyzing it differently unlike what he had done yesterday..
And the conversation between Ramnath, Lallaji and Sumo was lame... 😆

Nice, Indrani. 👏

On the car thing- It was symbolic of how they were looking in opposite directions...and would fail to get the other person's view, I felt...Otherwise, Sumo's car did not have to face inside- it could have faced the same direction as his, and he would still be blocking her...She went over...I wonder if that means, she will bend down...as she does with everyone else...Shravan is the only one she shares her real self with, but if he keeps shouting at her and finding faults with her, I suppose very soon she will shut up...

A husband who fulfills her dreams..I loved Nanji's concept...What he couldn't do for her mother, probably as he keeps telling himself..I really hope the writers remember that and if Nanaji is the one to choose, he would choose just the perfect guy..😆...Not happening, I know...But I would like it if they let him massage that guilt away...😊

Lalji- Shravan-

I didn't mis taht convo much..But would have loved if Suman had muttered to herself her plan as she made the karela...She spent all that time for the karela with the plan to use Lalaji..😉...She knew he would bite the bait...and before she could introduce the topic, Lalaji himself started it...and Ramnath joined in...And why not get Shravan married off? He had told his dad that he had no problems whatsoever marrying the girl his family chooses.😉😆

I feel the speed at which Sumo operates is perfect. Even before the letter she was expecting romance from him. His flirting , his staying back for her, going out of the way for her, coming back to say bye to her, all increased her belief in his love. We will only see what we want to see. Sumo wants to see love in his actions. Not friendship. And that is what she will see. And the letter cemented it (along with his declaration that the book is very special for him).

She knows Shravan well. She did not know about the letter 10 years back. But otherwise in their childhood she was the impulsive one. And he the laid back guy. So she has to act. And that too fast. She knows Nanu meant it when he said he wants to get her married. And she cannot say no to Nanu. So she had to be the catalyst to make him confess.

And then timing is everything - right ? Left to Shravan he will watch her get married and still keep quiet.

PS: I loved yesterday's episode. Classic Sumo reactions. We could not see the Lalaji-Shravan dialogue - so it felt out of the blue. And I can totally relate to Suman telling Lalaji and Ramnath that Shravan wants to get married. She is so comfortable with these two. So why not ?

J,

My problem is not with her rushing..It is the weight of the deadline on her...I don't have a problem with her behaviour..I can understand her well enough...but if it looks like she is being childish to majority of the viewers...I feel the writers need to polish up their act then...😳

😆 Ramnath Lalji convo was fun...If Ramnath could ask advice on his professional growth, why not give free advice on Shravan's marriage aspirations! 😆

I do appreciate what many people have been reiterating in this post- That theirs is a childhood relationship that bloomed over years ..where the boundaries crossed and when- neither know...which is fine...there is not a particular moment to point out..and their friendship is always alive, in spite of whatever other feelings come in or not..that is also understood..But they need to space out the need for speed and let us breathe! 😆

Indrani, I understand what you are saying...but these are not the points I am trying to highlight...

In fact, after answering a couple of posts now, I hope I can put it more clearly..

1. The deadline waala feel...They should have given more time between the crash and the marriage card...Sumo needs a breather...One day could have bee spent easily as an episode while Shraman got back to (N)...Instead, we had the old lady rushing in the very next morning with her nonsense.
I guess there is a reason for that. Their eccentricities are being outlined at the present moment to use it when these moments will seem to have completely died out. It is moving at a speed where Sumo is going to face a heart break soon and then her maturity shall stem forth. And Shravan's realization shall kick in at a later date by the time her maturity and love will close the door on him

2. Monologues from Sumo at least..I am not exactly talking about toying with telephone or looking at the moon...They do give us her monologues...would help if the used it more to smoothen the track...
You will get it, Chick... it shall happen. This girl shall grow up or move on from this phase and it is only then can we see her monologues

I don't have a problem with her character...but I feel the CVs should have taken this deadline slow...First she was running to make sure she gets to know, before he went back..now she has to know before she is married off...huge pressure! 😆 Let her take some rest! 😆
She cant take rest because for all you know she might be married and her gadha will still not have spoken up 😆
And come on, she does know for a fact.. that ten years ago as well he had not articulated his thoughts because she had not read the letter. He never came close to say or write it again... in fact, he simply carries the letter with him.. as an important fact or document of his life.
And Shravan's monologues can only come when this friendship and love line can be collapsed completely and his mother's case is resolved to a certain satisfaction. Unfortunately, by the time this happens.. he would have to do a lot more than simply mouthing monologues😆

She designs instinctively unlike Shravan who puts a lot of thought into it (though the premise of that planning was totally impulsive). I guess Sumo isnt privy to the convo between Shravan and his father that he would get married to anyone the family chooses. Had she known she might have refrained from blurting out whatever she did

Eccentricities- I so agree. 😆 Its getting to be a little nagging for me...the GENERAL cuteness is lacking as of now (though I still find their responses cute...but story wise, it is beginning to look childish) ...more than any love realisation or monologues, I am looking for some light moments...which I don't know if will be possible until this issue gets resolved!

Sigh..Sumo can't have a little bit of time to breathe easy? 🤔 The girl is being hit by one disaster after the other since this guy came back! (Though not all of it was his doing.)😡 Have half a mind to send him back to London so they can each have some alone time. 😉

😆

Karelas- She left in such a huff...she seemed really irritated...and she didn't really think of doing Lalaji a favour right then, I hope...😆

She packed that perfect lunch just for Lalaji..she had no other business to be there in his house at that moment...When Sumo gets angry, she must think like Shravan!- Minus the Common Sense! 😆

I mean...how did she think Shravan would react to this? That he would meekly declare his love for her? Kuchh toh socho, Sumo! 😛
