That was such an extreme reaction to the misfortune that was perceived...but that's him...So extreme!

This has been proved time and again that Shravan malhotra for all his astuteness is not a reasonable guy... passionate and the rawness of his emotions spills out all of a sudden. Wonder in the future what shall be those trigger points...

Be it the way he used to follow me around, extract small favours in return of my demands..forgive my bossiness...carry in his heart hatred for a girl who had betrayed his trust ten years back...(But then, I was extreme too backthen...Unforgivable it was, to break his heart like that...)..come back and take extreme steps to make sure that very girl suffered the same indignation...make her beg him to help her...and suddenly appear out of the blue like a true blue hero, take on his own family in a fight he considered worth fighting..

This image which Sumo has seen and understood is a move on from that of their youth.. she sees him much more clearly and the bond from her side is one which cannot be broken. The scene when she put her arms around him was a manifestation of that bond, of that understanding which she has gathered in all these years.

But I'll never forget the way he hid the love note...that is just so very sweet of him to still keep it...in spite of what all has happened between us...and what he seems to stubbornly want to believe...I really will thank him one day for preserving it for me...There will never be anything more beautiful that I read in my entire life...☺️

Just was thinking of this letter...

If for Sumo, the letter meant

The recreation of childhood in their adulthood

The realization of young Shravan not being lost (though he can say he has moved on)

It meant also a book lost in time

Recovered

To be read in pleasure

To lead on to knowledge

Knowledge which screams

Language kind of archaic.. yet alive
