Hey wonderful people out there, a very very good morning. I just watched yesterday's episode of EDKV and went back to the previous episode as well and this came across my mind-"first love". This is my first OS on ShraMan. I hope all the ShraManians like it <3.. Enjoy reading :)
They sat there beside each other for one last time as the driver rode them towards the airport. So much to say yet there were no words spoken. She felt her heart race, she felt weak, she had lost her everything at a very young age and now she was going to loose him. The thought flooded her eyes.
He was a loner until she came across and then he knew he would never need someone else by his side. Leaving her 10 years was destined,may be. But, leaving her today will be a stupid mistake and he knew it.
He wanted her to stop him and tell him not to leave this time.
As they reached the airport Suman held out a gift wrapped box and gave it to him with a smile.
Shravan raised his brows in confusion and she sighed.
" It's for you. Keep it."
Shravan smiled and accepted the gift.
Shraman got down from the car and walked one last time together. She felt there won't be him by her side anymore. She won't ever feel this secure like she does when he is there. He knew she won't say but he can't stop. She held his arm as they took the final step and stood there at the gate.
" won't you come till the end?" asked Shravan.
He wanted her by his side,..he needed her beside him to make it easier.
Suman nodded in No and let go of his arm that she was holding.
" Suman.." He called out as she started walking back to the parking lot.
He waited for her to look back once but she didn't. She left him and he walked ahead.
After all the formalities he laid down on a chair and sighed. It's been really tough... He always thought coming back was a big thing for him, but, going back was even bigger. He never thought he would feel so hollow from within. Leaving everyone behind... He shut his eyes and laid his head behind to recall all the memories, some sweet, some beloved and some fun. His eyes left a tear drop and he felt...after a long...very long time...he let his heart weep. He stared at the gift box and remembered her. Her smile she so courageously plastered to stop her tears from flowing. He opened the box as quick as he could and found a wallet. keeping the box aside he opened the wallet and found her picture in it. A smile crept on his lips as tears blurred his vision. He inspected the gift and found a piece of paper neatly folded and kept in one part of the wallet.
His heart thumping in his chest, his fingers trembling as he opened the paper.

And he broke. All the courage he had mustered to go through this pain seemed to come through him. He knew it was a letter...and he couldn't help but let the tears flow as he read those words she had to mutter to him before he left.
" Everytime I look at you, you fill me with a new feeling. Feelings I never thought exist within me. When I saw you after 10 years of waiting for you to turn up, I felt happy...as if something which was left behind..something which I so missed had come back to me. When you took your revenge, you filled me with guilt and pain. You broke me and then when you stood by my family and helped us through the tough times, you filled me with gratitude. And; that day at the terrace, you filled me with friendship and purity.
Shravan, they say -" apno pe humara haq hota hai" aur aaj main tum pe mera haq jatana chahti hu, ruk jao Shravan...uncle ke liye, hum sab ke liye, apne liye aur mere liye...ruk jao...
Last time you left, I couldn't stop you and this time I am asking you the right to stop you always when you try to leave..will you give me the right? I waited 10 long years for you to come back..to see you again my friend...and this time I don't want to wait another 10 years to see you again my love... I love you Shravan... I love you.
The words shook him...his heart filled and his lips turned to a smile.
You have all your first ones with you...your first razor, first key chain...and what about me Shravan? What about your first love? How could you leave me behind? Ek baar kheke dekhte... Ek mauka toh dete apne pehle pyaar ko... Pyaar toh maine bhi kia hai Shravan.. Humesha se...shayad isliye tumhe tab bhi rokne aayi thi aur aaj bhi rokna chahti hu...
I know, I know you were afraid...afraid that I might break your heart...but, you broke my heart without me even confessing it. I have lost my loved ones once before and I don't have the courage to loose you...I can't Shravan.. I just can't.
Ruk jao Shravan and I promise that you will never have to leave. I promise we will never have to be apart...just stay... Maine apne dil ki baat kehdi Shravan...haq hai mera tum par aur ye maine aaj jata dia...

Shravan sat there numb. His mind trying to register all that he just read. He looked at the letter in his hand, the wallet beside him, he went through the letter again and yes, it was all true...he wasn't dreaming. She loves him...Suman loves me...sumo..oh my God! He ran his hand through his well set hair and couldn't stop smiling.
She stood there still, she didn't have the courage to look back. Yes, she loved him but...she knew she can't say it.. Her eyes let go of all the tears that she was holding back.
" Haq hai tumhe" came a strong voice and she turned around to find him standing there holding his bag on one hand and her gift on the other.
" you... You didn't leave?" asked Suman as she stumbled for words. Still registering his presence in front of her.
Shravan dropped the luggage and walked towards her. He pulled her close to him and started playing with her hair.
" If someone stops you, you shouldn't leave...tum ne mujhe roka Suman...tum ne mujh par mere dost hone ka haq jataya... Main kaise chala jata Suman...
He looked at her eyes that looked much at peace now and with a smile he continued -
Tumhe haq toh maine bahut pehle dia hai Suman, mere liye hasne ka, mere jaane par rone ka, mere liye intazaar karne ka...aur...
" aur?" asked Suman as she stared in his eyes, trying to find solitude..
Aur mere saath chal ne ka.."
Suman looked at him confused as he said those words and pulled away from his hold.
Shravan chuckled at her and said- " aur kya? Do I have to say something else?"
Suman lost her cool, held his collar and started muttering -" Mr.Shravan Malhotra, you are mad, stupid,idiot, dumb...Pata nai kyu roka maine tumhe... Chale jate...wait kar leti main tumhara aur 10 saal. . Ya fir puri zindagi.. Kya Pata waha London main kisi gori ladki pe dil aa jata tumhara...mujhe yaha chodkar jana chahte ho na...toh jao...main nai rokungi.. Toh kya hua agar main tum se pyaar karti hu.. Tumhare saath rehna chahti hu...
" ssshhh" Shravan put his finger on her lips and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer.
Shravan..."
" I love you too Suman, humesha se..." as Shravan uttered those words Suman froze. She felt complete. She felt for someone like this for the very first time and she found it in her best friend.
Shravan wrapped his arms around her for a embrace and Suman reciprocated with every equal love and care.
They weren't just another couple who meet and fall in love or a couple decided by their families. ShraMan were different. They know everything about each other yet they want to listen what the other person wants to say. They know all the answers yet they question each other. There is always a "US" in them yet they like to say you...just so that the other person corrects them. They can't live without each other, still they run so that the other person stops them. They are not just each other's best friend, they are their " first love" and " first love is neither forgotten nor left behind ". So, they decide to walk together on this long journey of life...it will be tough but when you have someone for you, it's easy. They will be there beside each other because they are made for each other.
