I too, like others on this thread, agree with you. I noticed his expression of love and longing before the dance. I have not watched the other bits.

I'm not sure about the ankle. The CV's may not mull on that too much. But it is ok for Shravan to make plans with his family. Its quite normal.

His expressions have always indicated -love. When he was first introduced, upon his return from London, his facial expression of love and dismay when he looked at her earring and realised it was hers told us right away that there was love. Following on, every time he has interacted with her, he has through small gestures/smiles/expressions conveyed the love to the viewers.

Sometimes when something is too loud, too pronounced, it looks artificial and forced.

I agree... Shravan's feelings are subtle. They are there if we look deeply but can be missed with a quick glance. It's kind of like those tests Suman conducted... he did wait for her at the parlour; it's just that he waited in his own way but Suman interpreted it as he didn't wait for her sake. If we take his actions at just the face value, they may not seem like love because he doesn't go around proclaiming his love. For Shravan, he has been in a one-sided love for far too long and hence his love is more subtle.

Even I feel he probably may come out in open tomorrow the moment he says "Yes he loved" and I felt he is faking his sprain as the way he slipped did not make me feel it would cause a sprain!

I am sure he did not want to disappoint Sumo so he did it.

Yes, he did show his love for her in some of his expressions, but there were quite a few they could have been an eye lock sort, they were so fast that they could have pulled it lil longer, There were few more instances like when Sumo asked "kya tickets cancel ho gaya kya?" It was clear that how much she wants his trip to be cancelled and did not even realise this.

Hope CVs will use these lil moments in favour of Shraman rather than putting too many things in an episode. Lets wait and see what CVs have for us.

They may completely surprise us like they did at the end of the Khoslas case.

Thank you so much!!
Exactly!! I agree with what you have written. Hopefully he says something tomorrow. And right?! I mean who sprains his/her ankle with heat intensity in that fall? It might be a minor sprain but I think he exaggerated it on purpose for Sumo.
I also agree with what you have written regarding the pace of today's episode. It was fast! They even edited out some parts from the OLV. I also felt there should've been a moment of eyelock when she asked if his tickets were cancelled or not. He brushed if off casually -- hopefully he was hiding his emotions.
And yes, hopefully CVs surprise us tomorrow. I really don't want them to butcher Shravan's character.

I agree!! It was really subtle. He didn't want to display his emotions because he was aware of the mistake he made 10 years ago. Back then he wasn't subtle at all. He just wants to take it slow now so that he doesn't repeat the same thing. And I hope CVs show us this thought process of Shravan in the near future so that the continuity remains in his character.

Exactly!
He has suffered rejection as a child and does not want his love to be rejected again.
What he fails to understand is that she loves him too now and it wont be unrequited anymore.
Or he feels like he has moved on from that phase and does not wish to complicate things in their friendship further.
Vulnerability seems like a weakness to him and he doesn't want anyone to hold that power over him.
They have announced in front of the families that they are just friends.

Thank you!!

Yes yes! I agree with you completely. He fears rejection and fears that if he says anything, their friendship will go down the drain again. He doesn't want to go through the same thing. Therefore, this time he has chosen to take things slow. Sumo has not revealed to him that she loves him too. Even if he understands what she is feeling, he can't just jump to a conclusion before being sure. This is why he has suppressed all his emotions for the moment (hopefully).

Yeah!! I also hope they do that. If that is shown, I don't think anything else is required to display his "love" for her.

Thank you!! And ugh I know. Shravan really doesn't like to talk to himself I guess. But hopefully CVs show something that brings back the dynamic aspect of his character.

Secondly, thank you for this post! It was much needed..
Shravan's love is clearly seen through his gestures. Be it checking his phone first thing in the morning thinking about Sumo, or his last thoughts before falling into slumber. .. he loves her and there is no need for him to keep showing it with say flowers or random wind blowing😆
His love is the subtle intense kind not the over whelming suffocating kind.. which I totally love ! ❤️

Thank you so much!!
And oh my goodness, I forgot that one. Thank you for bringing up the point about checking his phone. He wakes up to check and see if Sumo called/messaged him or even when Riya and Rishi called, he presumed it was Sumo. When he has loved her for 10 years...he can't simply stop, I mean how can his feelings just disappear? For the moment, we are able to see subtle reflections of how he is feeling, which like you said, is lovely! It isn't forced or over the top. He has suppressed his vivid feelings because of fear, like many have written here, and I really hope this is revealed.

Thats the thing. Suman has never given him any of the vibes you get when someone likes you. He has always looked at it as normal when she teases him or something and she is also not letting him know that she feels in the same way, just keeps questioning him about it. How can he propose without being sure that his heart is in safe hands? Its not like he can resurrect a broken heart again and again after 10 years. Genuinely hope this is a momentary thing and he bounces back pretty soon. Or Sumo is gonna be heartbroken.

P.S. Is that Daniel Radcliffe in ur dp?
I'm a Potterhead too 😆

Excellent post!

I completely agree with you, Shravan's love is subtle!

You know when you get into a relationship and everything is all rainbows and sunshine because everything is so new and exciting. People somehow equate the feeling/expression of falling in love to love, but when you've loved someone for so long it's not those big extravagant gestures that speak but rather the subtle ones. Shravan's loved her for so long that it's second nature to him almost, and he's probably past this phase, whereas Sumo's love seems newer and seems so clear because she's in the process of falling.

But the way he looks at her when she's not looking speaks volumes! However, I am still a bit hesitant to believe he is faking the sprain, his family is just as important to him as Sumo...unless, somewhere at the back of his mind he thinks that his family can probably visit him in London whereas Sumo won't be able to. I don't know, I guess we'll see how it goes :)
