Hello everyone! I have been a silent reader here, this is my first topic in this forum page.
Anyhow, here is what I wanted to say regarding Shravan's character.
I came across a few comments regarding Shravan and his sudden change in behaviour -- he only thinks of Sumo as a friend and no longer has the feelings of love for her. These assumptions certainly might be correct; however, I feel he is just really good at keeping a facade (maybe I'm wrong, I don't know).
His expressions of "love" are really subtle. In today's episode, I found a few instances where he had that "yearning" for Sumo. Firstly, when he was about to fall and Sumo got hold of him. That eyelock displayed the feelings they both share. Following that scene, when they were arguing about how many times they've watched the film, Shravan paused for a moment and looked at Sumo -- I feel he got lost in the moment and remembered his childhood love for her. However, he quickly regained his "normal" facade. Furthermore, when Sumo started throwing popcorn at him. After she finished and turned away with the annoyed face, he again looked at her with some sort of a longing. It was a quick moment, but I feel there was something in that.
Also, I feel he is faking his ankle sprain. He didn't allow Pushkar to call the doctor, neither did he allow anyone to stay back -- the reason given to the audience was his concern for the wedding and stuff. However, I feel there is something behind this as well. He was very well aware of the plans Sumo had made, somewhere he obviously wanted to spend time with her. Therefore, he immediately called her and asked her to come. He was also becoming impatient when she was late.
In the end, he is a lawyer, so he should be able to understand what Sumo is going through. Apart from being a lawyer, he is also her childhood friend and childhood friends understand each other really well. So I really hope Shravan is hiding his emotions. However, if CVs have really butchered his character...then I don't know.
Nonetheless, CVs of this show have never disappointed, so let's keep faith in them.
