the latest BARC reports came and after a long time it featured reports of sony and &TV...

and to my shock...the trp's of EKDV are disastrous 😭 0.4 only (check tellychakkar article)

it's very saddening that despite such a huge fan base in a few days the show is not picking up and if it runs like this, Sony wont keep it for long. it's not a kind channel to give the show a long run because no one really watches it and it's on the verge to shut its shop...even CID and crime patrol r flop shows...

i feel really bad for ekdv ... 😭 the future is certainly not bright after seeing such numbers

Sony is more of a quality and not quantity(read numbers) kind of channel. A chill. All shows on Sony have about the same trps. But we must hope it increases in future

The other series are same disaster so we are not the odd one out..

Sony the channel is not known for trps and we all know that...

The reach of this channel is really low and may places doesn't even cover it.

The story is going great the online audience are loving it

pata nahi yaar.. ye tho already ek limited show hain... around 120 epi's... let's hope they let it run atleast until then...

I don't think on a whole channel is gonna shut down as they must already have an idea that their shows are not trp gainers... but still they always chose content shows from long back... they gave shows which are way ahead for Indian TV... I just wanna say that Sony is really special for me

yaar sony is all about classy shows! it doesnt reach the masses who contribute to trps. if sony cared about that they would have had saas bahu nonsense since a while. even the ekta shows they had on were hatke not her usual run of the mill stuff. so relax, this is anyways a finite show - so i dont think it matters that much

and i agree with fero - please change the subject of the post! the trp has been consistent

How do you know its only around 120 epis?

It's proved time and again..good shows have low trps, so cool with it... and it shouldn't matter much if it is a limited episode show.

And sony as a channel is not bothered abt ratings and they do not intrude into the creative content of the show to rake up trps..and they let the makers go with their script

high trps means more melodrama and non-sensical twists !!

hope this scenario changes in future .and good shows get good ratings !!
