Shravan 'sexy' Malhotra. What do I say about this man that hasn't already been repeated several times on this forum - and in my previous post? After Sumo's heart-wrenching trip down memory lane, Shravan's anger quite visibly melted - how could it not? The girl, that he had known to be fearless and confident, the girl that couldn't be shaken by a damn thing, broke down in his arms. The very gentle and sincere,'maine tumhara yeh side kabhi nahin dekha - na school mein, na uske baad', shook Sumo to the very core, and she let it all out.
The constant taunts from her relatives, the fear of losing something that was so damn precious, and the sudden re-acquaintance with her old home brought the tears that couldn't be stopped. The Sumo that stood in front of her mirror and let all her feelings out, had repressed this pain of being lonely, longing for her parents' love for way too long. The way he gently holds her, after having hesitated with himself - how could he hug the girl that he had spent so long trying to hate? How could he comfort the person that was known to give him the most pain? And yet, he lost the battle - just like he did when he postponed going to London - he listened to his heart. He held her head to his chest, listening patiently to every single one of her fears.
It's as if that night changed something - of course it didn't change their basic equation - they still fought as though their lives depended on it. And perhaps it did. They'd manage to tumble down from the thin rope that they stood on - the rope that had been tugged from both sides, causing pain to either one of them. What remained, was the friendly banter, the teasing smiles and the protective front. When Shravan speaks his mind about caring for her, despite her not doing so for herself, uff...what do I write that encompasses the very high-pitched squeal that I let out?
The way he guides her by holding her hand, the way he easily steps in front of her to protect her from the sleazeballs of the world - her cool as a cucumber, gentle and yet arrogantly charming giant is loved by us all. I can't help but compare to the time when he stood by his car, not sure whether to help her, as some scumbags teased her on the road. There was no doubt in his mind that he would jump in as soon as she needed him to. However, after that day in the courthouse, where he asks her with so much haq to not say a word, he doesn't even need to hear her call out.
The way he shields her, despite her loud threats to that jerk of a lawyer, speaks volumes about how their relationship has taken baby steps without having taken any leaps - they have tumbled down to a place they knew they belonged to. By each other's side. And that's where their rightful place is - and that's where I shall leave this post. Because, if I were to go on about Shravan Malhotra's swagger, it'd be hours, before I'd stop.

And that's a wrap! Until next time, folks!
