"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked kneeling in front of her with the ring. Tears of happiness welled in her eyes and she nodded a yes and he made her wear the ring.
Past
They were the best of friends, but she had a secret crush on him .
"Sumo,kha ho? I want to meet you immediately" he shouted on the phone.
"What happened shravan? Are you alright?" she asked concerned.
"Come fast to the park near your home" he said cutting the call. She ran to see him immediately. He was waiting for her impatiently in the park. She ran towards him.
"Shravan, Are you alright?" she asked him.
"yes, yes. I have to tell you something..." he said looking at the ground and she looked at him confused. "I have never experienced something like this before" he continued. She smiled at him.
"Okay, I don't want to hide any further. I think I love urvashi" he said smiling at her happily but her smiled vanished that moment. Tears started to well up in her eyes.
"Hey, are you alright? Are you crying?" he asked going near her. She immediately hugged him saying "I'm so happy for you"
"Arey pagal.. Are you crying for my happiness" he said hugging her back."Listen you have to help me" he said to her and she nodded silently.
That evening, Sumo brought Urvashi to the place where Shravan asked her to bring. He decorated the place beautifully and waited for them. Shravan proposed to her and she accepted. Sumo left the place silently with tears.
A pair of eyes followed her. "I know you love my brother" Pushkar said to Sumo . She went and hugged him tightly letting her tears flow out. He patted her consoling her. "Don't worry , he will understand your love" he said to her.
"I just want him to be happy" she said leaving the place. Pushkar felt bad for her.
The next day Shravan called Sumo and informed her to come for a movie along with Urvashi, "you come to the entrance and wait with urvashi . I will bring the car" he said.
Sumo went to the entrance and saw Urvashi waiting. "Hi Urvashi" she called her.
"Hi Suman. Are you coming to movie with us?" she asked her.
"Yeah , Shravan called me" she said.
"I thought to spend some time alone with him" Urvashi said frowning her face. By that time , Shravan came with his car.
"Shravan , I got some important work to do. You guys go. I'll see you later "Suman said leaving the place. Shravvan started to talk but she left without listening.
"Arey, what happened to her?" Shravan asked Urvashi
"I don't know" she said with a innocent face. Shravan felt bad. he kept thinking why sumo did so.
"I'm not feeling well. Shall we go home?" he asked Urvashi inbetween the movies.
"Okay" she said with half-heart. Shravan dropped her at her home and went to his home.
The next day Suman asked Urvashi about Shravan."Suman, Don't take me wrong. But it will be better if you stop caring about Shravan. I'm there for him" she said bluntly. Suman was hurt completely. She left the place without meeting him.
"Why don't tell Shravan?I saw the way she talked to you" Pushkar asked her.
"She is his girlfriend. She has all rights to be possessive" she said while feeling sad.
"Come I will drop you" he said to her and she went with him.
The moment Shravan entered, "Where is sumo ?" he asked Urvashi
"Can we go? My friends arewaiting for us.. " she said pulling shravan.
"Wait. I will call her" Shravan said taking his phone.
"No need. I dialled her. She said she is having work and asked us to go" she said to him.
In the party, everyone was enjoying except Shravan . He could not understand Suman's weird behaviour. He left the place without informing anyone.
Shravn could not sleep. He kept turning around. Pushkar noticed this and switched on the lights.
"Bhai, aren't you asleep?" he asked him.
"No yaar. This Sumo naa... " he stared.
"Are you thinking about Sumo at this time?" Pushkar asked quite surprised.
"She is behaving weirdly for the past few days" he said to Pushkar
"You are worrying for Sumo. Looks like she is your girlfriend" Pushkar said smiling.
"Yaar. She is my best friend" he said back.
"Sirf best friend?" Pushkar asked lying down back to sleep. Shravan got surprised at his words and slept thinking of Sumo.
Next morning in Mahalotra mansion. Shravan noticed Urvashi scolding Suman.
"Why can't you leave him?"Urvashi snapped at Suman.
"I didn't do anything. Infact, I stopped talking to him the day you told me" she said defending herself.
"Please leave Shravan and me alone forever" she shouted and Suman ran crying.
Shravan entered pretending as if nothing happened. Urvashi noticed him, "I'm angry on you, for leaving me alone at the party yesterday" she said faking and turned away.
"I don't care" he said politely. "What ?" she asked confused.
"I said I don't care" he shouted at her."I saw the way you spoke to Suman. Now I understand everything" he said turning towards her.
"Oh, so you listened. Yes, I told her to be away from you. I love you and I want to be the first person in your life. But seems like Sumo is your first priority. That's why I told her so" she said to him. She heard a hard slap on her face.
"Sumo has never complained about anything. She always stood for me and you asked her to be away from me" he shouted at her.
"Looks like you love her not me" Urvashi shouted back at him and left the place. Shravan felt very bad for sumo. He recalled their memories.
He recalled her cry that day when he confessed his love for Urvashi. He recalled how she considered his happiness.
He recalled how she sacrificed for him. He smiled thinking of her.
He called Pushkar immediately and asked him to come home.
"You know, right?" Shravan asked him.
"What are you asking" Pushkar asked .
"That Sumo loves me" he said back.
"wow, bhai. Finally you got your brain back. I'm so happy for you" he said controlling his laughter and hugged him.
"Chal .. Now do as I say" he said to him.
Pushakr called Sumo. "Sumo, sumo, kha ho yr?" he said tensed.
"I'm in home. why are you so tensed?" she asked him
"Wo shravan bhaiya, wo Shravan bhaiya "come home immediately" he said cutting the call. Shravan took her ancient ambassador nd drove to Mahlotra Mansion. She opened the door to find no one. She ran to his room and opened it and found it dark.
"Shravan" she shouted with tears. The room lights got turned on. The entire room was filled with photo of hers. She looked around to find him standing at the corner looking at her.
"You thought I won't know?" he asked her opening his arms. She ran towards his arms and he hugged her tightly.
"I love you" he said kissing her head.
"I always loved you" she said hugging him back tightly.
"If you have told me , I would have dressed nicely" she said looking at her dress.
"You look beautiful always" he said kissing her on her lips.
