Yet another landmark episode👏

Obviously came as no surprise though!😉

Deem it paramount to reiterate a very important facet...the FABRIC really of EDKV

This series is freakin' GOOD

If it continues this way

Will very soon be amongst the GREATS

And, I am obviously not talking television here!

EDKV is an extremely well-made piece of craft

With clarity of intent

With a genuine sense of commitment...to be different!

EVERYTHING

From the writing

To the characterization

To the detailing

And the brilliant VISION of the casting of the leads

EDKV has got it unbelievably RIGHT!

You are truly working towards creating HISTORY!

👏👏👏

So, here goes...

Yet another ode

My take!

LOVED the follow through of the entwined hands

LOVED even more how it was completely intrinsic...almost an extension of Shravan's being...as if it was almost meant to be...

LOVED the extent of Shravan's preparedness..."File the case...Right now!" was so smokin' authoritative!

Once again the nuanced moments...

The poignancy of the moment...as, Shravan alluded to a childhood abruptly cut short

How much baggage this young man carries

And to still turn out the way he has

Is no mean feat

Mr. Shravan Malhotra!👏

ShraMan's silences spoke volumes

Yet again!

Whether it was the awkwardness of "Par tumhare paas to yahan practice karne ka license nahin hai"

To the quick-witted "Bas aaj subah hi mili hai"😆👍🏼

The very next moment

As the edginess still prevailed, with Maasi's "Suman ke kamre main khana bhej deti hoon"

With Suman trying hard to conceal her discomfiture

As Shravan seemed to "tell" her

"Just look at you! It's only lunch!!"😆

Nikita and Namik just do this wonderful 'give and take'

Effortlessly well !⭐️

And, to be able to convey so much

With not a word spoken

Is yet another example

Of the talent on display!!

And, then, as the EPIC scene followed...

As Sumo kept giving Shravan one paper after another

Shravan cutting her short

'Cos the real deal (read: house papers) were no where in sight!😛

Yet again a split second reaction

As Sumo was taken completely aback

With Shravan immediately realizing

The impact of his curt response!

What an amazing eye for detail, CVs

PLEASE, PLEASE, take a bow!!

Thereafter, the amazing FLUIDITY of the moments that followed...

Shravan's anguish...written large on his face...as he goes "Main woh pehle wala Shravan nahin raha"

As the layers began to peel off

As Shravan...THE Shravan

Acknowledged his dil versus dimaag conflict...

And finally, the stuff that goes down in the HISTORY books...

"Kyonki mera dimaag to kharab hai...Aur tum toh yeh jaanti ho"...

What a CLASSY way to tender an APOLOGY!!!!

For all the hurt he had caused Sumo...the trauma...the pain...the indignation

By turning her away

In her darkest hour of need!

That he couldn't look beyond

The blinding hostility...the resentment...the rancor...

To let go of the trappings

Letting his ego take a complete backseat

To let his vulnerability show

To let his heart take over all the cultivated astuteness

As he spoke

Unabashed

Undismayed

Straight from the heart!!

THE Shravan Malhotra has finally thawed!!

If Sumo's reaction immediately after

Was anything to go by

Sumo-Shravan begin

A new innings

On a clean slate!👍🏼

What an amazingly NOVEL way

To communicate something

So meaningful

So deep

CVs, yet another CLASSIC to the already LEGENDARY ShraMan repertoire!!

And, the last 10 minutes

What a PHENOMENALLY well done face-off between Shravan and Mr. Scumbag

Have to mention here that Avtar Gill was just sensational today! ⭐️

And now to our Oxford alumnus😳

Just LOVE his uber cool style...so completely droolworthy it is😳

LOVE even more his quick-wittedness

As he dishes out those razor-sharp rebuttals

For just about EVERYTHING that can be!😆

So many SPLENDID moments there...

- Khosla making good use of the "Kodak moment"!😆

- Shravan gradually building the tempo...simply LOVED the understatedness of the tashan

- Some epic writing on display..."Bollywood main break"..."Aap kitna kum bolte hain"...loved revisiting Hindi literature classes with the mindboggling spin to "Bewakoof", "Baddimaag" and "Badtameez"⭐️

- And the sheer disdain on his face as Shravan slammed a "Get out!"...was simply to DIE for!!

- With the peering steadfast gaze, as Shravan proclaimed "Agar main apne daayre se bahar hua...toh aap ke liye."...

As if all this was not enough

With our senses spinning totally out of control...

The final "Namaste" in response to that of Khosla's...

As Shravan signed off in style!

👏👏👏

And as I sign off...

This post would be incomplete without an ode to Namik

So my two cents, for whatever it's worth😳

Namik Paul is truly BLOOMING with each passing day...the guy is ably honing his craft...and, the results are clearly visible

The ease with each he is portraying the finest of nuances, not to mention the more obvious ones, is truly commendable.

His histrionics obviously stood out...as he oscillated between the two worlds of Shravan Malhotra with effortless ease...had to be seen to be believed!

But, what stood out the most for me, though...is the stark improvement in his dialogue delivery

One false note in that duel with Khosla...the whole thing would have simply fallen apart

Namik, you delivered each line...each punch

With such amazing panache

The "Bollywood main break" comment was not for nothing, mate!😉

A new beginning of shraman friendship ...khosla asked shravan about their relationship friends , girl friend ... GF bananeka irrada hai ...an indication for future. though we all know shravan's feelings for suman .

Namik is lambi race ki ghooda ...long way to go
I like how c.v.'s use namik height in khosla confrontation scene.

It's a pleasure reading your mushing as it is watching this epic series,everyday I am like good this was supposedly the best and the next one will be a filler and I am proved wrong each time.

The moments in this series with the incredible leads who take everything to topnotch are so novel and the whole viewing experience becomes something else.

Shravan malhotra you are the man who is just perfection even with your flaws which makes you so real and damn a darling from your swag to sanskar all on point makes my heart thud everytime.

Sumo my girl you are doing great have my back and please don't change just be this amazing girl who is so loveable and maybe just a little control over ego but you are getting there

Nimik I lob you guys thanks for making this serial watching experience extraordinary

The essence of this show is its fluidity and continuity. Shravan still holding hands of Sumo and yet continuing with all important paperwork for filing the case was metaphorically important in that whatever other significant tasks enter his life nobody, nothing can ever replace Sumo. She shall remain his favorite😉

When he explained the rationale behind his staying back, I thought it was a wonderful direction on the part of CVs to show us viewers that come what may Shravan, of ten years back or that of now one thing remains the same.. his love for Sumo. House becomes home only because of its participants and Shravan acknowledging his memories associated with the house was a constant reminder that it is actually Sumo who figures in these memories.

His way of rendering that analogy was outstanding that his mind might reveal lots of negative impressions regarding Sumo but his heart tends to believe in her and this incident might be an eye-opener in expressing the Shravan of yore, the boy whom Sumo once loved and continues to do so.

Has Shravan really changed? As Sumo's large eyes opened wide in disbelief so does mine. Shravan might have changed in many things but essentially he is the samr nerdy boy who wanted to stay by the side of his young friend.

And Khosla was brilliant yesterday as well. Namik and Nikita were simply outstanding in the way they showed their embarrassment and simple happiness in the presence of each other.

Nice post and this week's episodes are making up for the boring Thu and Fri ones.

But I truly am baffled. I understand him coming back from airport. Maybe her push the previous night and her helplessness got to him. I understand him getting angry with Satya and holding Nanaji's and Sumo's hands. I can also understand him holding onto her hand inside the room. Filing the case, going back to their house, going through papers, ...all that is explainable.

But having a decent conversation with her. Making her eat, Saying his brain was always "kharaab" these seem to be too much of a change. I am not sure what to expect of this normal behaviour. Will it be for the timeframe when the case has to be solved ? Has de decided to set aside the heart ache for the time being ? Or is it the real Sharavan emerging for good ? A little confused.

Let us see what the CVs have in mind.

I was also pondering over his " main Woh Shravan nahin Raha". Something fishy with those lines. Also in -fero-'s caps there is a time when he has a very funny smile while looking at her in her room. Followed by a very determined expression... Not sure what to make of those. Am I reading too much in between the lines ?
