While we have been going on about yesterday's episode, there was one thing which I didn't understand. While reminiscing about the past, the younger Shravan is shown to be crying regarding the letter incident... Why?

Because Sumo hadn't read the letter (she could have read it later... why crying?) or

In between, the fallout took place between Sumo and Shravan and younger Shravan realized that his feelings for Sumo cannot ever be revealed and his love shall die with him or

There is another back story related to the letter.. one which again broke young Shravan's heart.

Would love to hear your persectives.

i also wondered why was he crying ... i thought i saw for a split second the book was placed proper not reversed like their secret code .. so maybe shravan thgt she read and lied abt it ... or some one else read it and made fun of him .. there is smthg cvs r not showing us ..

i really hope not tht sumo read it and lied abt not reading it .. i still wanna know letter incidence was before or after the prom .. 😕

Exactly! not only was the book placed properly but even the letter was not kept inside the last page as it was the norm between the two. Though I dont want Sumo to have read the letter, I guess there is more to this incident as well. Probably someone else did read the letter😕 Who?

I felt he was just disappointed that she didn't read the letter. He wasn't crying while picking up the book.

And the shravan who was crying with the book seemed "less" hurt than the shravan who felt humiliated before the school, humiliation incident he was all soaked in sweat and tears, extremely hurt.

I think these are two different incidents. He was just heart broken of not being able to express his feelings to the girl. I feel suman doesn't know what was in the letter.

He did not give the letter to her and there is a time frame that is missing so we don't have enough to say what exactly happened we can spectulate.

He seemed like he got hold of the reality (for him ) that his feelings will never be recuprated.It must be a event that lead him to believe that or a misunderstanding.

Nice discussion. You guys have interesting point of views. As for me, I just thought he was heartbroken because he wasn't able to confess his feelings to the first girl he ever loved.

I think...The incident took pace after their fallout...Before going to London Shravan might have gone to school to complete formalities...I mean he couldn't just leave the school without official formality...that's when he might have picked the letter up...
I can't be sure...It will wise if we just wait for the actual story to unfold...

That is exactly what I thought. And he cried because he was heartbroken & torn by the fact that he fell in love with a girl who never even considered him a friend. Those feelings meant so much to him, but to her it would be something to laugh about, just like how she mocked his parents' relationship as well as his friendship.

maybe someone else read it. but if suman read it i dont think she ll keep it there. coz their names were mentioned and at that she was image conscious. and shravan went to bring that letter that day only.
coz saturday sunday was holiday. anyone could have read it
he cried because he told his feelings in a letter but suman didnot value it. she forgot about it and didnot read it,
a teenage love. first love, fragile heart. happens
