Hi there,

I was listening to the title track and and it does not take a lot to decipher the lyrics but the thing that stood out to me is that, the lyrics are so apt for the central characters. I don't want to rush so will try posting two lines at a time and from one persons pov at a time.

Hotho pe tere shikvo ka shor hai

Par ye nigahen kehti kuch aur hain

Deep down his heart beats for her only and that is Suman, but he has been hurt beyond repair. He is angry with her for hurting him, for not standing with him when he needed her the most and with himself for loving her so much. He is angry with her because she took his friendship for granted, he is angry with himself for being there at her beck and call. He is angry with her for not returning the affection that he gave her and he is angry with himself for making her the centre of his very existence. He is angry that she never approached him, never contacted him in the last ten years and with himself that he remembers even the minute details about her. He is angry with her for not being sorry enough for hurting him, for not sincerely apologizing and he is angry with himself for wanting to hear her apology. He is vocal about his hatred for her behavior, called her names, bewakoof, baddimag, selfish and what not. Told her that he has moved on, never loses a chance to show her that but is angry at himself as her little provocation ignited the long dormant pain. He went out of his way to plan a revenge, to insult her so that he could get rid of her memories, but is angry with himself that hurting her is hurting him more. His whole demeanor changes at the very knowledge that she is hurt, and he is the reason for it. His eyes filled with unshed tears when he realized that he is the reason that made her part with her most precious possession. He may show attitude, call her names, but whatever he does, his eyes are always searching for the lost friend.

You have summed up everything beautifully
He is in love with her since that tender age and those emotions are buried deep down which he doesn't want to resurface.

I want to know where does her emotions stand

" He may show attitude, call her names, but whatever he does, his eyes are always searching for the lost friend."

A beautiful piece on a beautiful character. Thank you for this ❤️

I love the dignified, intricate, and complex pieces everyone is taking the time to write for our Shravan & ShraMan. Thank you 👏

Beautifully written.😊
Shravan is still stuck at 16. He pretends to move on, but at basis of his every movement in Suman. As you said, he is angry with Suman for betraying him at the moment he needed her most. But he is also angry with himself that he put himself at such a vulnerable position and at her beck and call. He wants not to care for her, but he does. He can't ever let go. Because behind that calm veneer, he is still a heartbroken boy wanting back those wonderful childhood days with his best friend.
He will say it but, he is still just a boy, standing in front of Sumo, asking her to love him😉

Such a beautiful post!❤️
I felt like I was reading exactly what we see Shravan try to depict. Like SPOT ON. Each and every sentence was so apt. Like these are his feelings and there is nothing else. He feels conflicted with his emotions because despite the amount of time that has gone by, his emotions have only become stronger as they have evolved into something so much deeper--- that is beyond even his comprehension.

His love for her never died. It's there, but only now it's suppressed by the pain and anger he feels. My baccha. Like I want to go hug him and tell him that everything will be ok.

I just loved your post so much. Please do continue with these!

Thank you all for appreciating.

After such a long time something worthwhile has happened to Indian TV.
Ek duje ke vaaste is a story so beautifully presented that I was compelled to write.
Will try to decipher the lines from Suman's perspective, either late tonight or tomorrow morning.

cheers

Hotho pe tere shikvo ka shor hai

Par ye nigahen kehti kuch aur hain

She is angry with herself for not standing upto the expectations of her best friend. She is angry at him for leaving without giving her a chance to explain herself, even if she was wrong. She is angry with herself for failing a friend in time of need and she is angry with him for not returning back for so long so she could clear her conscience. She is angry and hurt that he does not remember her, she is angry that she took too long to apologize. She is angry at him that their friendship or for that matter she herself does not exist anywhere in his memories, she is angry that her heart flutters at the very thought of meeting him after ten years. She is angry at him that he remembers each and everything of the past except her and she is angry at herself that she has been waiting for last 10 years to rectify her mistakes. She is angry that she lost a very dear friend due to her own rash behavior and she is angry at him for changing into a person that he has become. She is angry at herself for being the reason for his insult ten years back and she is angry with him that he planned a revenge to insult her without giving her a proper chance to apologize. She is angry that her feelings for him reflect in her eyes, her behavior and could be read by anyone and she is hurt that he thinks her to be selfish and a gold digger. She is angry at herself for not moving on while he seems to have moved on. She shows her anger to him, does not want his help or any contact with him because she knows that if she would remain in contact with him for long, her feelings for him would reflect in her eyes and she does not want that. She is hurt because the best friend that she once had only exists in her memories and certainly not in the suave, successful and spiteful London returned lawyer.

cheers
