Why not you take a picture of the clips you used? So when you work on it again, you'll know the clips you used. Because there is no other way to restore it. Unless you save that project on a hard drive, & then open it with another laptop.

I will, it's just now I don't have an editing software either. I downloaded a trial version of Vegas but just can't wrap my head around it. Love the features but just too much for me.
