shravan has been in love with suman since school days in spite of her ill manners and nose-in-the-air attitude...
in those days shravan was shown as a dedicated friend and suman as someone who took him for granted...
then one day wen he needed her the most wen he wanted to share the grief of losing his mother with her...she insulted him and even refused to acknowledge him as a friend in front of others...later that day he decided to go to london to pursue law something which he was postponing because he did not want to leave suman back in india.
and so shravan in the past 10 years grew up with the conviction that girls are mean and there is nothing called friendship...he also cud never forget the way suman insulted her on that day...
so after all these years he decided to take revenge and so grabbed the opportunity of the school reunion party...he even went so far as buying up down air tickets for suman's best friend who lives in singapore as he wanted her to be a witness to watever he was planning...
and then finally the party day arrived and everything worked according to his plan...even his cousin cud not enter the party because of lack of partner...the one person who cud protect from her humiliation...
everything worked like shravan entering the party with another girl while suman was waiting for him at the entrance, shravan refusing to acknowledge him as friend by asking everyone if they hv ever seen them together...of course they hvnt for the obvious reason that suman used to avoid talking to him in school...the spotlight was on suman as she stood there helpless, shocked and crestfallen at the way her once so dedicated friend was behaving with her...
but that was it...after that everything went wrong...everything that shravan never ever wanted to happen was happening...suman meeting with an accident, suman's family missing US flight as a result of which she became obliged to refund the price of tickets, and finally wen shravan tried to mend things by gving her the money suman ended up giving him the jewelry that has been most precious to her as it was her dead mom's memory...
now shravan with jewelry in hand was shocked and grieved beyond belief...one day suman said that she wud kill her future husband if he ever tries to steal the jewelry from her...today he refused to believe that he is the person who (unwittingly though) has taken the jewelry from her...one thing that he can never dream of doing...
he only wanted to take revenge but ended up hurting her in the way that he wud never hv done if things were in his hands...during school days it was suman's attitude that used to hurt him and today wen he wanted to return the hurt it is he who stands as the broken victim and today the tears in his eyes is not caused by suman but by his own actions...
so wat hapend...wat went wrong...the only thing that went wrong is that shravan tried to hurt that person whom he loves unconditionally...he tried to hurt that person whose one teardrop can shred his heart into million pieces...he tried to hurt that person who in these ten years has not gotten out of his system as he claims but has become more deeply entrenched in his heart...
and the end result...today suman is a free bird since she feels that she has leveled all dues and on the other hand shravan is standing with a heavy load in his hands...priceless memories of suman's mom something which he can never return back in cash or kind...so how will be level all dues now...
wen he was planning to hurt suman he forgot that one cannot hurt a person he loves without the risk of getting hurt in return...the party that he planned for her acted as a boomerang and today suman is laughing and playing with colors while shravan is standing alone colorless with tears in his eyes...
lesson learnt...never try to hurt someone you love, for watever reasons, unless u hv a heart made of iron...
