Suman POV I think self.respect.was one ,but she also wanted to give Sravan incident a closure becuase they reached the dead end

And somewhere its was very hard to move on as difficult as parting with her precious possession but still she did both

Loved the episode. Shravan has finally realized he went too far with the tit for tat. The fact that she parted with her most prized possession to get even. And he was hurt to realize that it did not affect her as much as it did to him.

About the past, he held on to the pain and planned elaborate to get even with her. On the contrary, she moved on without much ado after the very public humiliation. Has she really is open for interpretation though.

All this going to be short-lived though. The chachi is going to put him in a fix with the whole engagement drama. Damned if he agrees. Damned if he doesn't.

There is a lot of debate if Suman's apology was earnest... if she realized the impact of her actions. I feel she does. But his actions have prompted her to not bother with it anymore.

Suman is no doormat for sure. She is indebted to her aunt and the family, but draws a line like you said. Money is a big issue for her. Any barb related to money pricks her.

Indeed Sumo has moved past that public humiliation. If there is anything she is taking from it, it is only the painful realisation of what he thinks of her and what he himself has become...though I am glad she is mature enough to not blame herself for how Shravan chose to deal with his pain.👏

Regarding her apology-whether earnest or not doesn't make any difference since Shravan is not willing to take an apology...he has given his 'final hearing' on the matter without allowing her to speak.😉 (Hope they don't ever make him a judge!😆)
