Definitely I agree with you there. I would love it if she handles it in a dignified way & can walk out with her head high. That would be great. But then I still don't like the idea of this track. There are so many ways of showing humiliation & what not. Why the need for a torn dress track.

But that's exactly it! This WASN'T Shravan's plan for humiliating her, it just happened. Because of Preeti. Shravan had nothing to do with it, he's a educated dignified lawyer, he would never PURPOSELY do something like that. The only thing he did was give him and Urvashi the same dress, which yes is humiliating, but wouldn't lead to a moral attack on Suman.

I trust the CVs to execute this track better than other shows but I just don't like the idea of this ripped dress drama. What will they get out of it?

DAMN. I just want the reunion party episode soon. So that we can get over all this. For once I will be happy to eat my own words if the CVs give us a good episode & maybe even justify this torn dress drama well😆

Also as much as I would LOVE if Suman left the party with a *mic drop* moment, I would also see the realism in the situation if she didn't react exactly like that.

Because she would feel pretty cornered, think about it. Yeah don't give him the freakin time of the day after the party don't even speak to him, but right then and there where the whole world seems to be against you, I wouldn't blame her if she just left, giving a giant middle finger to the whole situation.

It kind of reminds me of young Pooja from K3G. None of us can deny that she was a total badaas gundi, but in that scene where she went to young Rohan's school and all his rich hi-fi dost started making fun of her., and then even this gundi ended up crying. I see the realism in this, though again I would still personally like it if she said a few words of her own before walking out like a boss.

Also we saw how it became way more than what Rohan had anticipated.

[NOT JUSTIFYING ROHAN BTW, needed to add that, I hate when people justify male lead ka asshole-pan and I am NOT doing that, I'd hope you all knew that about me but still adding it in for good measure.]

Not justifying, just putting that view out there. As for the torn dress, in my opinion it has SO MUCH MORE to do with Suman wanting to wear the dress for Shravan (because she clearly hurt him bad in the past and this is whatever little way she can sort of make him feel better/make up for it) and not as much to with Suman's self respect,

Also, if she ended up wearing it I already kind of assumed she found a way to fix it (though which probably would lead her to be worried about it the whole time). Again her finding a way to wear it for me also has so much more to do with the fact that somewhere that dress has become a symbol of her [something] for Shravan and (in her head) [his something] for her.

Again yeh mera nazaria hai, I TOTALLY see your point but hopefully you guys can at least see mine.

Also during homeroom I opened up this (wearing torn-dress) as a hypothetical situation to my classmates (I know this show has literally led me to insanity) and had a semi-discussion. It was quite cute.
