Hi all... i'm still reeling from the fact that despite our attempts, EDKV2 is still shifting to the App & also the stupid stunt writers pulled for today's episode..

episode begins with Col Tiwari getting news about the firing in the college and he gets surprised at the thinking of today's generation. Anjali comes in & they both discuss about his decision of sending Sumo to Pune;

the next morning,
Malhotra's & Tiwari's are gearing up for sending SuVan on their separate paths but yaha toh SuVan ney BunChan kay saath milkar apna hi alag sa plan bana diya hain!! Col Tiwari wishes Suman all the luck to which Suman gives him the cold shoulder, which kinda hurts Col Tiwari.
(A/N- bro, yeh ladki pagal ho gayi hain totally!!! she's really gonna regret her decision 😡).

Col Tiwari is about to leave with these guys, when he gets the call of reporting to solve the college matter- the college has been held hostage by a bunch of terrorists; he visits SuChan’s room for the final time, taking everything in & takes his & Sumo’s pic with him to the mission (A/N-let me cry in peace guys… what a beautiful & poignant scene this was…surely is gonna play a MAJOR catalyst in SuVan separation 😭😭😭);

So Ramesh Chachu, Dadu & Anjali go along with Sumo & Devraj, Rajendra& Kavita go along with Shravan. Before leaving, SuVan share a look which doesn’t go unnoticed by Anjali.

Sumo-Shravan make their respective families stop near a shop on the pretext of buying some stuff & they quietly run away.
(A/N- Badtameez saalo! Bahut, bahut regret karenge apna yeh decision dono! 😡🤬🤬😡)

Bunty waits for them near a car & after spotting them, takes them to his house for 1 day after which they plan to go to Indore at Shravan’s Maamu’s place. SuVan acknowledge that their decision is wrong, but they say it’s just to buy time so that the families try & understand their love.

(A/N- yaar saare fasad ki jadh yeh dono fams ki hain, especially Papa Tiwari!! Kya gadhede log hain! 😵😵)

Both the fams get to know ki SuVan bhaag chukey hain ek-doosre kay saath… Zaalim Daadu is pinning everything on Shravan, whereas Devraj says it’s an equal decision from both the youngsters... Rajji Chachu & Ramesh Chachu try to handle the situation when they both get to know about the severity of the situation at the college; Anjali feels scared that her daughter ran away & now her husband is also stuck at this situation. Kavita & Beena try to calm Anjali down, even Devraj takes responsibility of finding the kids on himself.

Precap-
Suman feels tensed about her mom & Shravan tries to ease her tension...they are almost having a moment, when SuVan get to know the shocking news of the martyrdom of Col Tiwari; Sumo falls down in shock & Shravan also cries; Bunty also watches the entire thing unfold in front of his eyes.

The elders are to be blamed for the way they dealt with the situation. Suman's dad told his wife what he should have told Suman, wrote an email to her instead of talking to her, her mother kept smiling and as always kept brushing matters under the carpet.

And sorry to be blunt, but now he has been killed by the terrorists and Suman will be blamed for trying to make her family understand her. Well, even the youngsters hadn't made a good plan but that's what they are, young. There has to be a difference between how parents and children behave. This is not a show where 25+ leads are falling and catching each other where dupattas fly and people go aww 😆

This is why in real life couples elope. Bcoz families make it an 'honor' issue if they don't get to decide who their children marry, at times not hesitating to even murder. The show had a great opportunity to send across a message to adults how to deal with young love.

Hats off to the writers

My heart is truly broken. Just a tragic situation all around. Understandable from every angle. Parent's doing what they usually do. But just tore my heart up to see how Vijay felt right before he went on a mission that ended his life. That letter is going to haunt Suman of how she behaved with her dad right before and how hurt he must have felt. How is this girl going to forgive herself? Knowing her dad didn't approve of Shravan and that maybe his dad made a faulty vest, there is no way the relationship can survive.

+1. Had the matter been sorted in the first place, the situation couldve been handled in a more calmer manner. He shared his feelings and sadness to Anjali and they never opened it up to Suman about his POV for sending her to Pune for her best. Suman will feel guilty that she was indifferent in the morning when she still had an opportunity to talk with him. Young and innocent they are for sure. I mean, what happened when they were 17/18 years old is quite different to the next generation as the world is changing as children are more outspoken and tender at this ripe age. Hence, they forced to take this step as they felt they were helpless at the moment. I salute the writers for this episode. Vijay took Suman's photo thinking that she will meet him and anticipate the hug that she always gave him whenever he was arriving or going on a mission as she was his primary strength.

And they've shown how close father-daughter were, it's not like those families where there is a communication gap.

This is why we should always let our loved ones know what's going on, what we feel. Communication gap is the worst. The youngsters acted as per their age. It'll be wrong to judge them while comparing them with a grown up or an old person (this dadu is the worst of the lot, always so irritating). Love teaches you to take risks, rebel against wrong traditions.

I don't understand why many elders have the same reaction of 'nooo' when they find about someone being in love 😆

I feel Anuraag and Kanikka and their scene was today's highlight. I admit that Suvan scenes are a delight to watch but today the once strongest father-daughter duo had a silent yet restraining sort of relationship followed by Vijay's monologue scene.

This is what good actors do. The scene where he kept looking at her, when he felt hurt/ sad when she won't even look at him, it actually didn't need any words and we'd still know what he's going through.

I did want to knock on his head and tell him to speak up and tell his daughter what he's thinking. That she ain't a mind reader but damn their scene 💔

Yeah. Things had to be taken a little in their stride. Even if what the children were doing was wrong, they should've talked it out.

Anjali was off for the entire while. Didn't flinch too and today portrayed a complete opposite character. Devraj was at least better in his way to approach matters.

I had my heart in my mouth throughout the episode today. Vijay's whole situation seemed a bit rushed but the particular scene where he takes a peek in the room was really good. So they'll wrap up the showdown in one episode. That's good in a way. Some movies and series go too much into the detail which I ain't much fond of.

Par na baar baar mujhe ek hi baat khai ja rahi hai. Rem how Vijay said "Jab hum agli baar milenge tab tum narazi mein nazare nahi churaogi balke daudke apne Papa ke gale lagogi"

Really in awe of the line and with how ironic it'll be

When the families got to know about tthe suvan relationship they should have talked about it by meeting the very next day .buy their egos were so high that they decided to not talk about it....but it's real life let's see kal kya hoga..how will they break up for one reason will be this guilt and what would be the other reason..

I loved this part. They kept it simple and didn't go overboard with this scene. I will miss Anuraag sir because his role played a huge catalyst in the development of the show.
