The Challenge and the Concession

I can't believe they built half an epi around Shravan getting his clothes "delivered" to him at Sumo's house🤣....matlab seriously.....kapde na ho, koi jung ladni ho.....lol poor Bunty navigating a whole obstacle course to get those clothes to Shravan......while Shravan-Sumo try to sidestep threats inside the house.....lol

Three things stood out today:

a) Once again, unwittingly, Sumo challenges Shravan to wiggle out of a tough situation and he somehow, miraculously, against all odds, yet again manages to find his way😆.....manages to weasel that kurta out of Damru 😆.....and then even manages to tie the whole thing to his "True Dignity" assignment thing.....although hearing the word "dignity" from Daadu's mouth was too much hypocrisy and irony🤔

Anyways, Shravan lives up to his title of "Khurafat ki dukaan" yet again😆.....

b) Shravan can go to any lengths to make concessions for Sumo.....this was evident in the pani puri competition today. Initially he only participated to try and get back at her for hiding his clothes and thought he'd make her lose....but the moment he saw her getting upset, he couldn't bear it and instantly flipped to gobbling down the pani puris at full speed to make her win and see her smile again😆

Bonus was seeing Anish get punished for once into calling himself a "loser"😆

c) Sumo is super possessive about her things😆.....the fact that she looked ready to MURDER Shravan for daring to use her towel🤣....a towel she doesn't even let Kancha touch....lol and then all her irritation with him messing up her room - she can't stand a change in the order and function of her life....lol. Shravan's entry into her life has surely brought about an upheaval but today was probably the first time she felt it up close seeing him using her room, her bathroom, her TOWEL😆. Dosti suddenly got TOO REAL😆.

I don't even know what to call this bickering....it was like a cross between a married couple bickering and kids fighting over their favorite toy😆.....these two are some weird amalgamation of that....lol

Precap seems to indicate that the "more than friends" question will be addressed next week.....Sumo is probably going to officially "friend-zone" Shravan....😆.....remains to be seen how he takes it. For now, he seems to be in the zone of accepting whatever he can have with her....no matter how he reacts to what she tells him, the fact that SUMO is now aware that he likes her in that way will definitely keep playing in the back of her mind.

LOL Sumo's always had a mischievous side yaar....remember how much she was enjoying teaming up with Bunty to pull Shravan's leg during the Devika dating period?😆

Today what was very apparent was how childish they both still are.....lol so ready to try and get back at each other. Sumo ko gussa aaya that he used her towel so she stole his clothes😆. Shravan ko gussa aaya that she stole his clothes, toh he tried to make her lose that pani puri competition....but end mein nahin kar paaya😆.....infact, he ended up consuming so much chili just for her....even though he otherwise can't bear it😆

This shows that Shravan, despite all his other immaturity, is able to put his ego aside for Sumo's sake....it's quite notable.

Agree about Bunty's one-liners too....they were fun right from the starting when he was all weirded out by Shravan asking him to pick a 'blue shirt' and deliver clothes to Sumo's place😆....and then his commentary in the pani puri scene....reminding Shravan ki use mirchi nahin bardaasht hoti....lol

I'm guessing Monday ko baith ke royega Shravan jab mirchi ke after effects feel honge😆

After an awesome week, today’s precap brought me right down to the ground.. My first initial thought was the sadness and disappointment on both the face...

One is sad for may be friendzoning and the other is disappointed for making her pukke wale dost sad...

But it’s all good... A bit like Veer Zaara type... We saw Veer’s side of love and now it’s time for Zaara.. Ie Apni discipline ki book...

Her love will be intense and deep for sure.. I am looking forward to her confusions, denials and to finally her accepting the beautiful feeling of fall in love..

Can we please for once have a girl confessing her feeling to the boy?

After all, both our buddyon are Ajeeb to the core right?

Woh toh honge hi🤣 abhi toh thuss gaya itne gol gappe but it made me crave for some too. I guess sumo hi aayegi iske rescue ke liye and will feel bad caz uski wajah se he ate too much

About his ego woh toh hamesha se hi he is able to put aside and do things for her. She's the exception has always been suman ke liye hi toh he took so much insults from anish and devika bhi multiple times when he could've given them a tight slap

Btw am I the only one missing his motu friend from school😆 come on yaar baaki sabko waapis le aaye ho toh motu ko bhi le hi aao

I really like the point you made about how Shravan puts his ego aside for Suman. Maybe Suman will start noticing these small good things about him (she is already noticing) and will unknowingly fall for him.

The whole thing looked too contrived, but it was still funny in parts.

I really love this word for him😆 Also Kancha telling Sumo tum bhi khurafati ki dukaan se shopping karne lagi😆 I like how Kancha always is able to put her point across.

The one thing that annoyed Sumo the most, was Shravan using her towel🤣 Their bickering and fights are fun to watch. Both take turns in ruthna and manana. Most of their bickering is so kiddish😆

it was like a touch wood moment for shravan where damru entered & shravan was able to dress up even if it were to be damru's clothes...khurafati ki dukaan impressed vijay lol...smart ass answers firing every time !😆

I think Sumo is probably going to tell him that she doesn't have time for any 'romantic' relationships in her life since her focus is only on joining the Army......that is the easiest escape route for right now. lol....and it's understandable.....she's been very firm and almost rigid about her beliefs in many ways....and she's said since day one that her only focus is the Army so she doesn't have time for dating etc.

Then again, Sumo also once famously said that Shravan will never manage to impress her😆....and yet he has....lol she just admitted the same to Kancha two days back too. So Sumo tries very hard to stick to her beliefs rigidly but life has a way of surprising her.

There are two ways to friendzone someone.....1) Tell them you only see them as a friend and don't feel anything more....2) Tell them you don't have the time to date ANYONE...lol in choosing the second option, Sumo may try to tell Shravan that she isn't rejecting him specifically, she just doesn't have the time to accept anyone as a boyfriend....lol

But yes, I agree with you that whenever Sumo properly falls in love, it will be deep and intense....she doesn't do anything half-heartedly.

Oh I miss Saheb too yaar😆....he was adorable....but sadly I guess right now the story doesn't allow any of the other kids from the Army School to be in the narrative.....cuz woh sab civilian bacche hain that don't live anywhere close by.....Bunty is an exception since he is Shravan ka BFF toh usko ghar pe le aaye hain...lol

I guess they are trying to control the environment where they shoot....so they only use these two houses ka location for everything....notice how they don't go out anywhere or use other locations much. Saheb ko toh tabhi dikha sakte hain if they show the Army School location again or if they plan another random "party" that includes both Army and civilian kids.
