Plagiarism - PLEASE READ

Ok so I just saw this. Someone copied and pasted my stories onto another website. They also copied Lavy's (Pranushka) stories. They gave us credit but they never asked for our permission to post it elsewhere. This makes me upset because we put in HOURS brainstorming, writing, and editing these stories. I don't write these stories because it's a job. I write these as a way to let out my creative energy and destress therefore these stories mean a lot to me and I am proud of my work. I was happily writing away Ch. 12 of my FF and now I just feel so furious that I can't continue writing. I initially made my FF [Members Only] and then took that out so more people could read my stories because I know there are a lot of silent readers. I don't care if they don't comment/like as long as they are enjoying my stories. But, I don't know what to do now. I always put the [NO COPY] code into my posts so I don't know how this person copied my posts.

If the person who did this (Blogspot: Moumou from TV Soapz) is reading, please don't do it...to any writer. I saw that you have reposted a lot of stories. I am humbled that you like my stories enough to share it with others but it's not fair. Crediting isn't enough and does not make it right. You don't have permission from the original writer to repost their work. In case you are wondering, if you had asked permission to repost, I would have said no. I request you to delete all stories that you have reposted without the permission of the original author. This is still plagiarism. If you were to do this in an academic or professional environment, you would have been expelled, fired, or sued which would have resulted in the end of your career. Please be respectful of other's work and have integrity.

try to report if possible..i've seen it in the past ...i never post my stories anymore because of this incident...

yeah i tried to search for a contact/email...i don't see any...its just showing where the website was created from like the templates and all..there are other OSs/FFs aside from suvan ones being copy pasted

I feel I-F should have a system now where if FF/OS/videos are being posted and shared, the topic maker should have the authority to make a password and then share it to whom they wish to share their stories with like in messages or something. I know its a bit extreme but I just feel it restricts outsiders from accessing FFs/OSs/videos..

Years ago, I used to encounter my 'copied and pasted' WUs on proxy websites. I stopped updating for the show thereafter. Like you said, it's morale crushing.

This is so outrightly ridiculous, how do these people even have the audacity to do such things, it is so disheartening to see somebody's hard work being copied so easily!

I think that the person might have taken screenshots of the chapters and typed them on the website😒

But, please don't feel demotivated and don't stop the story dear. We truly love your work and writing style!

I see that the person gave me credit and did not try to steal my work to claim at as their own, which I really appreciate as that shows they understand that giving proper credit is the right thing to do. But, the problem here is that I never gave permission to repost my story and this was done without my knowledge. It may seem like that I am making a big deal out of nothing but I want my stories to be posted only by me because so I can directly interact with the people who are reading my stories.

Not going to lie, I was really angry last night. I considered discontinuing my FF and taking all my work off of IF. Tbh, if I did discontinue it wouldn't change anyone's life lol because we have more important things to worry about it. But, later I decided I would not do that because I am writing for myself. I like using my imagination and writing. I want to finish what I started. Also, it would be unfair to those who actually do read my stories and like them, to discontinue only because of one person. So, you can expect another update from me and maybe even a part 2 for one of my OS 😊
