I think Vyom must have known that ShivAnya were married( he is obsessed with her) and he said only to defame Shiv's spirit.
About Madhavi toh I think she did it unintentionally because only Sharanya noticed that thread has broken.
So, that she and audiences could believe that he is indeed possessed now!

I liked Vyom and Madhvi scene...first time Vyom ko Madhvi k liye aise bolte hue dekha otherwise he ignores her presence or gives priority to Sharanya over Maddy.
