EDT~ ep 34, 7.12.17,My stance. Be your own worst enemy...
The trouble with humans is their reasoning that they are near to perfection. Beyond assaults of shortfalls, and as such, nothing can go wrong if they stick to the straight and narrow. But then us mere mortals many a times complicate matters for ourselves, misjudge people, situations, and in doing so, do our selves more disfavour than favour. So sometimes it's best to humble, one's self, reduce our self reliance ,and make time to listen to others.
Looking at today's episode. For starters, Sharanya turns down Odhni's intervention, as negative and misleading .To me, on the face of things she is seen to act contrary to her own interests. Mind you ,I don't blame her either. Odhni always turns up when Sharanya is short of time, facing an emergency situation. Odhni too, has weakened her position by accepting money , and pinning the blame on Madhvi .Now, had Sharanya heard her out, would Odhni have told her the truth.Complete truth about who actually paid her??? However at this point it appears that concealing Rajan's name is imperative to sustain the mysterious momentum. Only snag is, Sharanya swings between half baked truth and half baked lie.. in Odhni's words. But Sharanya's impending errand, prompts her to escape from an important truth! fully baked truth! an unflawed reality. Save Vyom!
Vyom receives a visit from the unfriendly presence. Before his life is strangled out of his gullet. Some sensation wakes him up, abruptly. The engagement photo by his beside falls twice. As expected he thinks nothing of it ,probably the wind? or a burglar? Sensible action is to arm himself with a pole and investigate if any one lurks about outside the house.. all normal reactions, what is out of the ordinary is Shiv's larger than reality presence! he never wavers from his true intent . To finish off his rival!
He is one restless shadow who expands from Vyom's room to the deserted road where Odhni is gadding about in the middle of the night! only to be scared off by the armed, florist delivery boy who gave Vyom a bouquet of lilies for Sharanya once she cames out of her comatose .. who sent this person to scare Odhni off??
It 's the ghost that prompts Vyom out of the house so he can bump into Sharanya . Saves her from going into Vyom's house at such an godly hour. In fact courtesy of Shiv, both Vyom and Sharanya end up having an urgent date in the garden! under the stars! Vyom as usual is his worst enemy , non serious and flippant at seeing Sharanya. He does admit he felt strange, thus got up abruptly. Shrananya hopes he is on the same wave length as hers.. i.e sensing the spirit. But he just jests, she hoped he'd make things easier for her.. be more accepting about a spirits strange around her, now that he too has experienced something similar. But Shiv is as dismissive as ever! pokes fun of her being influenced firstly by some psychotic medium ,now by some odd priestess who refers to some solar eclipse! Thank heavens, Sharanya carries the newspaper as evidence to back her stance of marrying before the solar eclipse! Vyom accepts, as its to his advantage.. meanwhile Rajan spots the two love birds in the garden from the balcony above. Rajan symbolically keeps an aerial view on what happens at grass root levels in his family! But from where he is, he also catches sight of the trespassing predator Odhni!. Seeing Vyom and Sharanya at the dead of night in the garden, she intends to sneak in and expose Rajan's truth!!
Digging pits for others often falls in it. So Rajan tells her, after he gags her! then throws her in the pit he dug up for her! Odhni becomes her own enemy.. underestimates Rajan's evilness when she thinks she'll expose him before Sharanya and Vyom..but looks like she may meet her death. The pit symbolizes the immoral craters in his soul! By the looks of it he intends to club her to death with his golf stick!
While Shiv watches from far, he ascertains, how Sharanya veers Vyom, into somewhat believing in his surreal existence.Shiv listens in like a firefly glowing ,hovering around them.. he can see that both are joining the dots! Making connections with the solar eclipse two years ago! their accident! which was meant to harm him. but due to her protective presence, he escaped unscathed! It 's great to see that Sharanya clarifies before Vyom,that the spirit is not out to harm her, but to kill him instead! She implores him to bring their wedding forward! Three days before the solar eclipse! Fine scene as Sharanya speaks both with her mind and heart.. all to reach her mission, save Vyom!
The boy's mother due to her own insecurities! becomes her own worst enemy by opposing the idea of bringing the marriage forward. As usual Madhvi putty in Chandni's hands is manipulated and she mouths off against Sharanya calling her wilful and obdurate, having things her way! but Sharanya tells Madhvi this marriage is not about her being obdurate, but rather it signifies Vyom's need! She assures Madhvi that they both have Vyom's interest at heart! Both Vyom and Rajan give consent to the idea! And Madhvi's threats to kill herself are ignored! Looks like Sharanya wins the urgency of marrying Vyom after three days before the approaching solar eclipse! Rajan sends both meddling women ,namely Madhvi and Chandni in so the couple can have more time to themselves.. how evil he is below the surface.. he may have just killed Odhni ..
Vyom wants to drop her home ,as per his father's order. But Sharanya declines the offer. He does apologize for his mothers sharp tongue.. but then Vyom in jest cum defiance cum camaraderie mode invokes Shiv s spirit to thank him from the bottom of his heart for its extraordinary support! For scaring Sharanya enough to bring forward the wedding! In fact for making Sharanya agree to marry him in the first place! Vyom's manner turns to more mocking than challenging the spirit to come forward for a hug! Vyom gets rowdier. Sharanya senses Shiv around but Vyom mocks the spirits amorphous form. Looks for the spirit in an empty drain hole! Finds no spirit! For Vyom perhaps this was masculine bravado? or just plain scaring his pretty wife to be..but Shiv is not amused! Vyom is seen to be supporting Sharanya and being his own worst enemy by challenging the ghost to come before him! Shiv will oblige him.. as Vyom is asking for it !!! Shiv recites ,some chilling verses for Vyom," you invite death in such a way, that you have crossed limits of courage. My love for you will be your lesion. Life will now be separated from you! Hamlet53 8.12.17 Precap.. at the haldi ceremony.. something comes over Vyom. He forcibly over powers Sharanya. Suddenly changes from a gentleman, into a beast or some badly behaved spirit?? Someone ,somewhere, wants to malign his character, badly before Sharanya ,enough for her to call off the wedding???
