I didn't feel any connection. The Ghost was trying to save her but realised he couldn't hit the goon, then Vyom appeared and saved her. Ultimately, both have their eyes set on the same girl. Probably, that's the connect. It's a pure coincidence because the Ghost is not seen by anyone!!
