Ek Deewaana Tha follows the story of Shiv (Male Protagonist) who died in a mysterious accident and his love for Sharanya (Female Protagonist) who is suffering from memory loss (Amnesia) for 2 years due to a coma. After waking up from coma Sharanya doesn't remember anything that happened to her in the previous 3 years. Vyom, who claims to be Sharanya's boyfriend assures to help remember her past and their days of love. However it is still unknown if Vyom was actually her boyfriend or not. Then incidents happen mysteriously such that Sharanya feels the presence of an entity around her, which keeps hurting Vyom both physically and mentally.
