1. Just like in any other show or cinema...Dhruv wouldnot be able to see Janhvi’s uncomfortable expression ...untill and unless Janhvi herself tells him to keep distance. Her uncomfortable expression are meant only for audience to know that she is not in love. But for Dhruv it wont be noticeable.

2. Its a TV fiction show and not reality....the story started from midway when she is already married since 1 year. Dhruv must have been trying to woo her all this time and only recently started noticing that Janhvi hides stuff.

3. Janhvi’s prime target is PK....and PK’s Wife, Manohar....but not Dhruv or Kabir or other sons/daughters in house.

4. Janhvi once shouted on Dhruv but the very next day held his hand and said sorry in a loving way. So why would Dhruv stop loving her or wooing her?

5. For Janhvi it might be marriage for seeking revenge...but for Dhruv its a genuine marriage...why would he stop loving or trying? He can only stop if he finds the truth or if Janhvi tells him to stop away.

Have they shown a single sequence with janhvi behaving like a loving wife? She can't bring herself to even hug the man back. Sure, he can't see her discomfort. But doesn't he feel her body language? Of his wife?

Granted, she has a beef with senior mittals and their accomplices. But she's deliberately maintaining a distance from the juniors to avoid emotional entanglement.

We are yet to know what's Dhruv's real motive. If he's really slow or shady or knows her intentions but is acting dumb. So I will reserve my judgement as to whether he thinks it is a real marriage or not.

He may be shady, and I would love to see that part, or may be he is positive but not exactly the way he pretends. But his love for Jhanvi as far now is real. She is his wife, so him wanting her love and attention is obvious, and that's what he's trying to do. Yes, his ways are little cheesy and OTT, but its fiction, consider that. Personally, I'm liking Dhruv's character more than Kabir's. He can smell something fishy even when Jhanvi pretends all fine infront. So, he's not a mere puppet in the show, and can later challenge/support Jhanvi in whatever way.

Err... he's not disgusting, but a little slow or acting slow. I think his character has not been developed as clearly as janhvi's. Writer is using him as a plot device to suit the circumstances of the antagonist. Coz if he was the main lead, I am sure, he would have been given monologues and a functional, non passive brain.

the show started just a month back...it started with Janhvi as the center...as we move ahead i am sure focus would keep shifting to other characters. Its not a 2 hour Film that every character would get to do everything so soon. As of now there is only One Lead in show...which is Janhvi...but we all know how focus shifts in indian TV shows... 😄

agree with u i read on wiki that he is a parallel lead but if he had been a main lead surely more known face would have taken

Personally my opinion though i like ishaan and his acting to the point may be Shashank Vyas could have been taken but again only if he had main lead

OMG.... that's a wonderful pair..shashank and shrenu. How come casting team didn't think of it. But like you said, they wouldn't take a well know face for a parallel lead role. Just to prevent fan wars.

..ishaan is doing what his character demands for now. Haven't watched him in any other show.

Dhruv's character in the original show went tangentially away from janhvi's. But then it was more tanvi 's character's interaction with her.

Whatever it is, they are dragging the show now. Not much is happening in terms of janhvi's plans. In fact, it's failing. And she has to deal with this sleazy driver.

Well, it happens in ITV shows usually. Unlike the leads, other characters are not written well sharp and on point. Dhruv is a strong character, and for not giving him monologues, or not showing his part transparently is I think to shape his character accordingly later on, positive or negative. We haven't got scenes of him talking to himself, or to someone clearly. Not sure what's going in his mind, or what are his motives. Let's not conclude something this soon, who knows how the tables are going to turn.

I think you are missing my point. 2 years old show or 2 weeks old show. It's not the focus, rather the characterisation. You also missed out my previous post where I mentioned my view. Anyways, your argument is stale. Folks in the forum have already overused it.

Edit: btw, are you someone from the forum with a new ID? Ha ha, you sound very familiar. Just wondering, since you only posted twice.

I think that's what I mentioned. He might swing either way. That too, as per the arc of janhvi's fate. Writers might totally write him into oblivion or bring in his ex girlfriend to engage with janhvi's situation.

A bit strange, I never concluded anything about him. But if you insist, I can't help you.

well you forgot its an indian tv show and characterisations are further explored as the show moves ahead...is this the first time you watching indian shows?

I am sure each character will be explored more. They have no revealed everything in just 1 month.
