I was seething with anger when I read the article but then I watched the episode and I felt much much better. Anyways loved the episode because we saw a jealous MJ for the first time and a little hand hold fired him up so much that Tara nicknamed him "Tandoori Mrityunjay" :D
What made this scene the best?
Well as always I was juggling between the bedroom conversation and this sindoor scene but I opted for the sindoor scene because I thought that it hinted towards the future - pathetic fallacy if you will.
1. MJ got jealous! That was very entertaining to see and Viraf's expressions were so real! He looked like he was going to stab Om to death there and then. This anger and jealousy is an indication of how protective he is of Tara and how much he loves her that even though he had told her to pretend to be Sia, he's having trouble seeing her acting as Om's wife.
2. Kala has always unintentionally united Mriara and strengthened their relationship through her flop plans. (Kala should just become a matchmaker because she does such a good job with Mriara). Yet again with the sindoor test, she allowed MJ to show his love for Tara and also gave Tara the chance to feel "suhagan" again by wearing the sindoor intended for MJ. Kala living in psycho villa isn't such a bad thing after all 😃
3. The importance of sindoor was explained by Sia's MIL that when a wife applies sindoor, God also blesses the husband. Here we see that this is yet another sign that Mriara are inseparable and it doesn't matter where and what they're doing in their lives, they've been binded together by God through the sacred bond of marriage.
It also indicates that MJ under no circumstances will let Tara and Om get married and he will do everything in his power to stop this fake marriage from taking place.
This consequently also shows the difference in true love and obsession as MJ despite having lost his memory and identity, is leaving no stone unturned to stop Tara and Om from getting married. MJ isn't even 100% sure that Tara is his wife yet but seeing him feel so much love and authority over her makes me want to cry with happiness. In contrast, you see Om who apparently "loved Sia a lot but got nothing in return" but he clearly didn't love her because (a) he no longer has FBs of Sia (b) To cover up her death, he replaced her with Tara and (c) he is even willing ti marry Tara to
hide Sia's death. He feels no loyalty or guilt for his actions so it's clear that Om's love is fake and MJ's love is pure 😊
