My take,
The crime- there were two crimes committed that fateful day, one is the rape & murder of the unidentified victim and the murder attempt on Radha.
IMO, Kaka is lying about Radha's rape, the victim was raped not Radha and Kaka is just going with it to protect the life of his daughter.
Reg- silly things like evidence implicating MJ, i think, they didn't bother about going into the details, as MJ owned up in a hurry.May be they'll bring all this, when he disputes. Also, the body might have been so badly mutilated/decomposed to give away vital clues.
About why nobody bothered about MJ's whereabouts, they might have thought, he could be sulking somewhere as Tara mentioned/he was on his secret mission.
I think Radha knows about Rudra's financial misdeeds,may be she was an accountant,who might have tipped MJ about it. Probably,she was supposed to handover some proofs to MJ on the fateful day before Kala tried to kill her, may be this is why MJ feels guilty about the whole thing.
What i would like to see is a strong character from the real victim's side come and give the Shekawats a hard time.May be this dysfunctional family would unite in the face of an external enemy.
But yes, the bloopers must go, Radha shouldn't be calling her father Baba and Kaka alternately.
And why MJ took upon the crime is a million episode question!😆
