People change jobs all the time even if they have to resort to legal means to get out of a binding contract. A good offer is a good offer & I don't see why an actor is expected to be more committed than doctors, engineers or other professionals who change jobs at the drop of a hat.
It was very magnanimous of him to choose to stay back. EBI is not exactly a top rated show, it's never even reached 2 in terms of TRPs & I hope he doesn't live to regret his decision in the long run.

@Sona, even though I'm not so enthu about the show any more, I'm happy that I can catch Viraf on TV for longer, but you are right, as viewers we fail to see the big picture & become selfish stumbling blocks to someone's success

whatever happened in last is always always A person's decision..he was still free to chose what he wanted too..wasnt All worried why he took to stay back decision wasnt everyone worried about the show's future...wasnt everyone wanted him to stay back...if some didnt wanted but still they watched Mj & felt that who else can be Mj who would justify...Show's future was dwelling just with the news of this coming UK ratings u didnt know i dont know but went down very well down it was just last week were on Top with 40000 more viewers but with this news they went down less than even 20000 viewers...everyone was seeing the show is going to be closed...wasnt U also thinking why so much suddenly such fast paced story..if show going to get closed...see show would lost the essence all felt that last week...The impact of this News was so High no one able was thinking straight this forum was in Panic situation..was there any positivity towards the show was there...wasnt everyone was thinking of Viraf leaving or Saba Mumtaz telling lie just to keep the things calm...The forum I felt like leaving despite i was little positive..bcoz people's negativity was impacting me...Maybe i would have watched the show but forum have left such neagtives...Im writing something which last whole week i felt like & saw..

Today Tv is not a small medium..every bigger actor is coming on tv.. there movies wont get audience if they dont promote on tv u know...
Plus A commitment is a commitment towards the work u took in hand...there is a sense of person's responsibility...took work he would have left in b/w wasnt going to shake the people faith on him...
believe that happen...he would have been called with names..i wont mention here..but u know he was about to do same thing on which he preached 2 yrs bk...He remain committed to the thing which he himself said...If Next time he took some project wouldnt people have thought..he takes up thing than leaves them in b/w for the better offers.leaving the projects in lurch...think of this Now he remains commited to work...the Respect the audience will have on him, the faith he will have...U will be also one always going to be his fans even after show gets over..or the audience/Fans he created through this show...
Seeing the eyes for Longer term by doing this he created a longer path for himself...the Loyal Fans r going to remain with him in Whatever small or big thing is Going to Do...!! Think of Creating Loyalty Brand...for himself !!
Just Maybe i would nt be his fan after the show or would care a less what he does after this..but by doing at-least for me he created that Loyalty...I will Always Wish Him Best for Future whatever he do in Life !!

tanvi i can't tell you how happy i am after hearing his staying back wala news... But the way he forsook all his dreams that was hurting yar... Everyone is independent in our country... So he has also rights to choose anything... Waise i agree the commitment has value in this industry.. But all actors hear their fans' sentiments,requests..no... But this guy earned loads of respect in my eyes.. Love him to core.. Only last wish he should grab any big project once this show ends.. I am pitying on him.. Hushh .. I can enjoy this show without any baggage lol

We r his fans hum hi nai jaate movie dekhne toh kon jaata
And lastly i believe he proved tht everyone r not same
For me he created a history

I mean he waited years for this opportunity and suddenly he got the offer in the middle of this show ...so it indicates that he must have caught their eyeballs by his raw look and fabulous performance.. Mujhe bus itna kehna hai ki koi bhi actor chahe viraf ho ya koi or apne decision fans ke hisab se nahi leta. Viraf koi chota baccha nahi hai jo use uske decision lene ke liye kisi msg ya letter ki zaroorat paregi. Usne jo bhi kiya hai soch samjh ke hi kiya hoga. Uske liye kya sahi hai kya nahi wo humse behtar janta hai. Uska future kya hoga ye usne khud socha hoga tabhi ye decision liya hai na. To khud ko itni importance na do ki viraf ne jo kiya wo humari wazah se kiya.
Rahi baat movie ki to i don't think ki wo kisi big ph ki movie hogi warna ph ka naam bahar zaroor aata.

the entire team would have suffered the crew people who got job with this show would have suffered if the show would have went out of hands...just for one person would have been behind would that be right...
He must be taken all the things into consideration that to was seen in his statement..

i am not judging his decision dear... He is enough smart ..at the age of above 30 he is capable to make his own decision... But this is the fact that our rant affected him
