MJ is talking on the phone with Kaka and asks him to take care of Dadaji..the ball of wool rolls down to MJ's feet, he picks it up and gives it to Maaji, she asks him where he had gone early morning and that Tara also was missing since morning. She then tells him that every year she knits a sweater for Bunty but this year she would do it for her Second Son. MJ wonders did Tara have another brother? She stands up saying "I'll show you, turn around" placing the spun piece behind his back she checks the span of his shoulders, "you always wear expensive clothes, will you wear the sweater knitted by me?" MJ is overwhelmed by her deep affection... for a second he is stunned.. lost for words...with her outpouring of love, he answers, "haan...but what was the need." She looks at the knitted bit and at him and then touches his cheek gently, "This is not a need but a mother's love."...he smiles and says the word "Ma" something he had not heard for a long long time...she says yes, "Ma"...Aradhna pours out her heart to him, "You know the kind of person I had dreamed for my Tara as a husband you are more than that...Keep my Tara happy always, joining her hands in a plea...He is struck by her humility..."Mother does not join hands in front of a Son., they take blessings from them." And touches her feet...Tara comes there and breaks the spell, that he is not what he seems to be and complains. Just then Aradhna receives a call that her sister is not well and she leaves.
Mrityunjay did find a Mother in his Mother-In-Law...
Baba and the lawyer worried that MJ's case article would be out in the papers soon. Baba then decides that he had to speak to Tara's mother before she found out from someone else.
Nimmo worried sick about playboy Aditya!
MJ in the room, and Tara mulls whether it was the right time to talk to him about the bandana or not. She enters and as a dutiful wife asks him, "Are you going for a shower, here let me give you the towel." Places the bandana inside the cupboard and pulls out the towel and gives it to him, but remarks, "This is why I say, share everything with me, life would be much easier." He listens but does not say a word, he then is looking for his clothes, she pulls the bag towards her and gives him his kurta...he takes it, though he might have wanted to do more than just that...kya control hai bajjar battu ka...she then hands over the trouser...when he is taking it from her...she holds it back saying, "BTW with a shower only you can reduce the tension of your body, but by sharing your problems with someone close you can ease your mind." Gosh this girl does know how to stir a man...that smile...her little tricks...he just walks away.. ... Here MJ really felt like she was surely making it difficult for him to keep up with his self-imposed exile from marital duties...Poor Tara is really hurt...that she just can't get through him...
MJ is busy working on the laptop...Tar a brings him a cup of coffee. He places it on the table. She then says, "Are you really busy or just acting." He does not reply. Then tells him that he could finish his work and they could talk later.
MJ thinks he might as well get rid of his pretty bala...her standing there was an issue for him...so says, "What do you want to talk about?" She turns around saying, "I just want to know why did you go to Indore." "Not necessary that I have to tell you everything." She replies, "but it's important I am your wife." To which he says, "I don't acknowledge this relationship. "
But honey you just took the towel from me, the kurta, the coffee now now...don't be a bozo will you?
"By you just saying so it does not change things, and I have a right to your whereabouts," whilst bringing the bandana to him. She dangles it in front of him asking, "Where did you leave this?"
MJ looks on, Oh gosh this girl will follow me to the ends of the earth, so thinks ok once again let me apply defense mechanism trick...He gives a rhetorical answer, "What were you doing there? I have told you several times don't come in my way. Stay away from me. Now move away from here, I have had enough." And pushes her away. Goes on to pack his bags, and yells, "You are fond of spying on me, but I have no interest in living with you."I have told you several times, stay away from me, but no, are you coming with me, or you want to stay here."
Hahahaha...wait a minute Mister you seem to contradict yourself too soon...decide you don't want to live with me? Then why do you ask me to come along...
Stubborn as a mule she stands there with hands folded , he yells again, "I am asking you something." Still no response..."Fine your choice" and walks away. "Wait" she calls out but thinks to herself, Mom has left and you too are leaving me alone. He turns around, she retorts, "Before leaving remember one thing, if you leave without taking me along, I won't come back to that house, until you apologize and come back to take me." His nostrils flare up in anger...Khadoos MJ...OMG Viraf was so damn good here...and Chhavi was equally adorable as a Cat... Watch her looking at him...If you are Sher I am sawa sher...And he shaking his head...like as if you just won't give up...
I don't think we have ever seen miya biwi fights like these on TV. But they are so close to reality...Gosh!
Angry that he actually left her, Tara bangs the bedroom door, grumbling about his obnoxious attitude.
Faheem Chacha gets a call about someone and leaves in a hurry.
The lawyer & Baba discuss about an article that is due to come out in the newspapers regarding MJ. He is keen to inform Tara's mother himself rather than she finds out from others. Baba comes to meet Tara's mother who is not at home. He enquires about MJ, she says he has gone home, but Baba says he has not reached home. They both wonder where he might have gone. Tara covers up and Baba tells her to return home soon as she was missed a lot. She promises to return as soon as MJ would bring her back.
Fast forward Kala...and Nimmo worried about her playboy son...
A Confession to a Human Wall
MJ taking care of his Grandpa and whilst feeding him begins to talk about Tara, sayifn he is forced to hide things from her. And that she does not understand that they together have no future. That he is torn between two paths, one that his father has chosen for him that is a life with Tara and the other a life without her. He asks his Grandpa for a solution as to what should he do.
Of course he gets no response, for Dadu is in his own delusional world clueless to MJ's troubled dilemma...MJ realizes his Grandpa could not get him out of his misery.
What I loved about this scene, that MJ has come a long way from a convo he had with his Father just after the marriage, to now a Confession with his Grandad...From outright rejection to a state of confusion.
There is some soul stirring happening. He is now contemplating on the matter...
A beautifully scripted romance scene...so subtle and explains Tara's imaginary world of love between them...
Tara is at home alone sits to have her meal. She opens a dish and finds its "karela" just like him...If I think of him my hungry will die off...
She begins to eat but has only him on her mind, "What am I thinking of him who is he of mine, Even if it's a relationship a fake one...She begins to cough and imagines him offering her a glass of water and rubbing her back...and apologizes... she finds him gone...scolds herself for thinking about him...she is just about to place a morsel in her mouth when she imagines him sitting right across her...smiling, giving her those stares...filled with love...she is stunned...the morsel falls off her hand..she can't believe its him sitting right there across her..."What happened you don't believe it" and he laughs..."Tum bhi naa." Awww...she brings down her gaze and looks elsewhere...feeling shy...seeing his piercing gaze upon her...they share such a beautiful eye lock...and he loses balance...totally smitten by her and she by him..she finds him digging into the karela with a fork to eat it and says to her, "you don't like it, It's just like me." "tum bhi naah" And then he was out of her sight. She wonders why was she thinking so much about him and whether he thought of her as well. No ways or else he would not have left without her. Then worries that her threats might never work on him.
I think we fell in love with both of them again today...it was sad though by the end of it that is was not reality...a distant dream for Tara...she yearns for the love of her man...☺️
Saba hope you realize loving ways too don't work with MJ. I think MJ needs to change HIS tactics now with Tara. Rather than pushing her away he needs to shower her with some TLC. You never know she might just back off. 😉
