EP 45 - Hide & Seek
The Game of Hide and Seek of the Mind & Heart.
Another lovely episode...day after day...The CVs are hell bent on giving us sleepless nights...
First game of Hide and Seek is played by Mrityunjay when he stops to hide and eavesdrop into a conversation by Tara and Meethi.
Mrityunjay realizes they are talking about him. Tara's thoughts are now only filled of her friend. His niceness, his kind and loving nature and love for animals, his loyalty. From her conversation it is clear she too is in love with the Man. Says Tara to Meethi, "There is one worry so far I haven't seen him smile, there must be some sad story behind this too, which he is trying to hide. There must be a reason behind it. Anyway whatever the reason, but I pray that all his problems vanish away and his faded smile returns."
Though not aware of it herself, she is all dazed when talking about him; she is not sitting across Meethi and discussing about a person in distress. Meethi might have not noticed but Mrityunjay gets an ilk of it, he now knows she has taken a liking to him, his Shadow.
The heart melts, his face softens but his Mind takes over and he thinks, "She will never figure out the truth and I won't reveal myself. She hates Mrityunjay and it's for her own good. "He then darts off after breaking a vase, she realizes its him. Is miffed so says Speak of an angel and a Devil appears.
Yug's intentions were revealed today. He has been watching and following every move of Nandini. her coming from the Shekhawat home and then the selling of the bangles etc. He knows her weaknesses and has been studying her well for the past few days. Nandu now knows Yug is aware of her dirty lies. But he too acts ignorant and becomes her confidante exactly the way he has been planning.
He reveals his mission, Nandini the key to his plans of destruction of that house that he had sought for so long. Now with MJ already behind bars why does Yug still want to destroy them? So he knows a lot more than even the cops do.
Just loved the change in Yug's tone when he was talking to Nandini, a complete turnaround; The Revengeful side of him was revealed. And yes he has Nandini handkerchief marked N'. This would be crucial.
It was wonderful to see Mrityunjay in the office. A big Wow! When alone Tara occupies his thoughts, not for long though, as they are interrupted by the presence of a visitor. The one who is here on behalf of one Mr. Ravi (answer to question 21 on the Mystery Timeline) Mrityunjay hands over the file to the man and says, "Tell Mr. Ravi I have very little time left. He has to begin his work fast. I might go to jail anytime. Before I go I want to know about every transaction that took place in the name of Rudra. What amount was transferred? When? Why? Where did it originate from? Where did it go to? I wish to know everything and as soon as possible.
Whilst here Rudra arrives into the office, just when the visitor is leaving office with the classified file. Mrityunjay notices Rudra walking in the opposite direction. Before they both can cross paths, MJ distracts him by saying, "Tayaji Pranam!"
I love that MJ has the guts to give it back to Rudra, he does not care, that too in the vicinity of the office staff.
Rudra says to his enemy, "Greetings. Come to the point. Don't ever think that you own this office. You are just an employee here until Jayraj returns. Hence it would be best if you mind your own business."
MJay sneers saying, "I am minding My own business Uncle, and what I am working on is very crucial to Me this time?" giving an emphasis to the Me and I.
Rudra now feeling the pressure viciously scoffs, "But you just don't have time, you can finish the rest in jail." MJ again rises to the challenge ahead of him saying, "No Tayaji it must be finished before I go to jail. And I shall do so definitely."
Rudra fears losing the battle once again, realizes MJay is definitely up to something and he had to act fast.
Scene shifts to Nirmala playing with cards, Rudra mocks her, "Today your house of cards has shattered. But if you won't wake up then the day isn't far when this entire manor shall crash down."
He warns her of Mrityunjay taking over Aditya position as heir to the wealth and coffers of the Shekhawats. Rudra seems very keen on putting Adi in that seat is because Adi is a puppet who will squander the wealth on women and wine. And this will automatically bring down the House of Cards.
The stage is being set for the ME ...all want Mrityunjay behind bars...but this time there is someone who will come in the way, a tiny force that they will have to reckon with - called Tara.
Now it seems it will be Nirmala who will set the cops behind him.
The girls are playing hide and seek and blindfolded. Tara running around trying to get hold of Meethi and Vasu, just then Mrityunjay walks in and she gets a hold of him. His Heart takes over The Mind. He is standing still, instead of moving away. Cant keep up to his own word..😆. What did just happen. She caresses his arm, his broad chest, sliding her hands over him, feeling him... Mrityunjay is flustered and lost...does not move...her lips break into a smile...and something more ...a kind of liking the feeling...At that point Tara is herself in a world of her own...for sure she thought of her friend at this moment. She seems lost and affected too.☺️..she calls out to Meethi and Vasu, when she falls back and he holds her in his arms again.
Vasu and Meethi looking at the lovely couple laugh and Vasu says, "You have got hold of MJ Bhai Tara Bhabhi!
Sparks flew during this small moment of hide and seek. Seeking out yet hiding their feelings! Tara felt it too...but is completely embarrassed and shaken, her heart was racing at the time...she places her hand over her chest to calm herself down and he noticed that. ☺️
Loved that Vasu called her Tara Bhabi and that too in front of MJ. And Tara your husband is a Hunk and a Rock, no ways can you compare him to Meethi or Vasu! Now now you knew it was someone you know...but how can it be? 😉😛
Meethi teasingly says,"Wow Tara you fell right into your husband's arms." MJ stops at the stairs and listens, he smiles, knowing the they both were affected by each other, it was there between them.😳
He gets a call to say that a girl had pawned their ancestral bracelets in the Sarfara Bazaar. The news spoils this special moment. A kind of disappointment shadows his face. He recollects giving them to Tara. Wonders why she did such a thing. Then decides it would be the perfect opportunity to create trouble for her. back to her. I know my next move now. And the impact of my move will be such that she will have no option but to leave me and go so far away that she will never be able to return.
It's the middle of the night and MJ comes into the kitchen to find Meethi making jalebis. Do all the people in the North only know one kind of sweet delicacy?😲
MJ puts his plan into action, by asking Meethi for help. Between jalebi talks, he requests Meethi to convince Tara to go along with him on a date. And yes he wanted her to wear the kadas he had gifted her.
This looks like one scary date. But I do think that again his Heart will take over his Mind. When after creating trouble for her, he will run back to get her out of the same mess and save her. He is now a Man in Love.
When Mrityunjay finishes his talking to Meethi and turns to leave, his smile vanishes...there is sadness and a kind of bitterness in his eyes, all his smiling with Meethi was really fake...
Meethi forces Tara to get ready for the date. She looks so angelic in white. Keeps saying she did not want to go due to her own fears. She does not trust him. Now Meethi thinks Tara's anxieties rise from the fact that he has been termed a criminal. Meethi tries to make her understand, "He does have a case filed against him, but until not proven we cannot accuse him of being a criminal." But for her it goes beyond all that. Meethi continues to convince her that he is not what he seems to be. And don't suspect him too much...give him a chance to set things right. Still firm Tara refuses to go, but then Meethi reminds her of their talk when Meethi was low and how they would support each other.
Now this whole conversation is what Tara is going to recollect and ponder upon once she gets to know MJ and her friend is the same person.
Then Meethi excuses herself and reminds her to wear the kadas. Tara really worried what the psychopath was upto with her. She searches for the kadas but can't find them. Worried now, that what would he do with her on the date?
Precap: Tara coming down the stairs whilst MJ looks on,with her dupatta on her head. Meethi comments that she is looking beautiful, asks her if she had worn the kadas. Tara hides her hands. BTW MJ has worn color coordinated clothes! How come?😉
And yes lets all get ready for our date tonight! 😲
