Jai shri Krishna

Sudama says while returning he was regretting, not asking anything from Krishna, but he gave everything without asking. Now one last wish is that Krishna should comes to this house & bless them. Krishna closes his eyes, Brahmaji, Vishnuji & Shivji is watching this. Krishna appears in his chaturbhuj swaroop in front of Sudama & Susheela. They are overwhelmed seeing Krishna. Krishna tells Sudama he will always reside at his place, he is a special devotee & friend, whose name will always be taken with him for ages. His maya will not affect him & his family & after his death he will reside in Vaikunth, where he can get his darshan forever. Sudama feels happy hearing this.

Next morning, Krishna is playing flute, SB & JV comes there, wishes him, but Krishna is so engrossed playing his flute, he doedn't respond. They both smile at each other, JV trys to get his attention with sound of her bangles, SB with her payal, but are not successful..

Both are sitting & wondering, what is bothering Krishna, why is he not responding to them. SB asks JV, since she is serving him before her, did she ever come across such a situation before. JV denies.

Suddenly Narad comes there, he asks both, why are they looking worried? They tell him about the morning incident & asks him if knows the reason of his such behavior. Narad replies, Krishna is lost in bhavasamadhi remembering his childhood memories, remembering Gokul & the Gopies. Krishna comes there, seeing Narad there asks him the reason for coming. Narad says, he just came to greet them & was telling them about memories of his childhood. SB & JV tells Krishna, they came to greet him in the morning but he was so engrossed playing flute that he didn't respond. What was so special about those Gopies, is he not satisfied with their devotion that he still remembers those Gopies. Krishna tells them, those Gopies, surrendered to him without any relation, that's what he remembers their devotion for him, hearing this JV says he can test them about their love for him, she is ready to even die for him. Krishna tells her to have patience. He then tells Narad to remind him more about those days. Narad agrees happily & leaves with Krishana.

SB & JV decides to make some special dishes for Krishna, so he forgets about the Gopies. While eating, Krishna praises their food says he will finish everything in his plate today the food is so tasty, SB & JV feels happy, JV says they have made 36 dishes for him, she asks did those gopies ever got such dishes for him. Krishan says they only got makhan & roti for him, but it was more tasty. Hearing this SB & JV feels jealous. Krishna is watching their expressions.

Later they are talking, what was so special about the Gopies, that Krishna still remembers them, Krishna is hearing this smiling.

Thanks for the update!

It's a little weird that they brought in the Gopis now...but I once heard a story about Radharani coming to Dwaraka about Krishna testing his eight wives...it's not from Bhagawatham or any of the popular sources. It's just one of those folk stories that I heard from someone, but I'm wondering if DBSK might be showing that story now after reading this update.

What happens is that Radha and Krishna are lost in thoughts of each other, and Krishna invites Radha to come to Dwaraka and meet him and his eight wives. Radha comes there and all the wives except for Rukmini feel jealous of her, because they know the special place she holds in Lord Krishna's heart. Something happens (I don't remember exactly what) where Krishna tests his eight wives, and only Rukmini passes the test because she had accepted Radha as her sister and friend, because anyone who loved Krishna was loved by her also. The other seven wives learn a lesson not to be jealous of the Gopis or Radha, because they all hold a special place in Krishna's heart and it is through them that anyone can win the love of Krishna.

If DBSK is showing this story, I guess they are going to replace Radha with the other Gopis and Rukmini with SB and JV as usual.

I was so happy to see a complete closure brought on the Sudama chapter. One thing I forgot to mention yesterday - when Sudama's kids went to their plates to eat, they were eating w/ golden or brass spoons😆🤣 Of course, since we're talking about deities here, they can have velvet uttareyas, spoons and what not 😆 Other than that, it was really beautiful the way they showed Sudama and Vishnu's promise to him to keep him in Vaikuntha.

I'm glad that they didn't move to Mahabharata, but made the Gopi incident a filler episode for today & hopefully tomorrow - I don't want this to eat up even next week, let alone month. On the question raised by LJR, it should be noted that Srimad Bhagvatam is not chronologically listed - for instance, Balarama kills Rukmi in 10.61, whereas Krishna slays Sishupala in 10.72. But in the Mahabharata, Jarasandha was killed b4 the Pandava exile, while Rukmi approached both Arjun & Duryodhan b4 the war offering his services. So obviously, Rukmi survived all of Jarasandha's other vassals & allies, and after the war, made a new set of allies w/ the ex-enemies of Krishna & the Pandavas, such as the raja of Kalinga. So SB is obviously not chronologically ordered.

10.82 has an account of Krishna & Balarama & the Yadavas returning to Vrindavan, and meeting all major royal families - Pandavas, Panchalas, Matsyas, Chedis, Madras, Kauravas, Bhojas, and so on. But 4 chapters later, 10.86 is the account of Arjun abducting Subhadra. So obviously, nobody can base a serial on SB alone w/o first sequencing the events as they occured, and also taking into account the Mahabharat, and to a lesser extent, Devi Bhagvatam accounts of the same.

Incidentally, I didn't find the story of the Gopis standing on Krishna's head as requested in SB. Is it from another Purana?

Anyway, Narada was back in form today, instigating this time not just Satyabhama, but Jambavati as well against Krishna. If they're going to show the incident of Krishna wanting somebody to stand on his head, I'd like to see their reaction. Although this Satyabhama looks just the sort that would oblige 😆

i have read Krishna thinking abt Radha, gokul and all ppl there. i think it was Harivijay bhaktimala (i read it in marathi. don't know if it's there in other languages). he then sends Uddhava to gokul and asks him to meet everybody and bring all their news. Radha is mentioned there. and then Rukmini asks him abt Radha and he tells her few memories. and Uddhava asks her if she is worried abt 'Krishna's sakhi.' Rukmini tells him that she thinks abt two 'sakhis' of Krishna that is Radha and Draupadi and Krishna's behavior towards them and that proves how great her husband is who treats everybody with equality, be it a Queen like Draupadi or a simple woman like Radha. once they r devoted to him then they r special for him and he can do anything for them and she is proud to be his wife.
(this whole scene is after Subhadra vivah and when Draupadi meets Krishna's family for the first time and Rukmini sees his affection for Draupadi. after coming back to dwarka, Krishna mentions Draupadi as Sakhi and same time remembers Radha and then sends Uddava to Gokul. it's in that marathi book. i don't know from which purana , they have taken it. but yes, the book now i m reading , again a marathi book named " Yugandhar" by Shivaji Savant. even similar story is there and the exact story was in one marathi book named 'Visarjan' by Anant Kamat. but this book now is not available. ) if anybody can read marathi, check these books. of course these authers use lot of imagination but seems like sagars r using these stories.
so it seems sagars have taken new track for now , this will go on for 2 days.
Mahabharat track to start on monday.
