Analysis on Kshitij's character

Guys,

When I see the way Kshitij's character is potrayed in DN, I find it lacks the lime light...I agree that DN is the protaganist but Kshitij has a very important role in the serial, that of grooming DN to the city ways, to make her understand how the world works in the city, how to be always on guard etc. I always get this feeling that just because SONY had to accomodate Amit Sadh(A liability due to BB), just introduced Kshitij's role in the end and didnt give much thought to this role.

I feel the writers should think about giving as much lime light to Kshitij as they do to DN(If not 50-50, atleast 40-60)...after all the onus to straighten the srivastava brothers is just not on DN but also on Kshitij....dont forget he is the adopted kid....he shld ideally have a share in the property!!!

But the one thing I like about this character is the unconditional way Kshitij has accepted DN!!! He being from US and she from a remote area in India, its her character that has influenced kshitij and like any other guy he hasnt gone on her non-groomed persona!!!!

Thoughts/Comments?

I am just not convinced with the actor playing Kshitij. Sometimes even with few scenes a good actor can make an impact but Amit Sadh just doesn't feel comfortable and essays his role mechanically and also his role looks half-baked.

Agree, someone else would have done this role so much better. He doesn't have much lines and is just side kicked.

but i think................now-a-days a serial is only consist upon the villains and the heroines..........and hero seems to be a side role...... 😕

i agree heros are merely there to misuderstand the leading lady sing songs n marry as many times as possible 😆

i do feel the liability point is valid may be they promised a role for all theparticipants who din win the game 😕

he shud given a lil more footage may be later he will get his rite publicity n footage

as far as his character is concerned he is least intrested in the family n has only come back for his mom so may be now he might not get into the limelight but i am sure as the soap proceeds he will get his rite position😛
