Hi everyone, heres my 2 cents for todays episodes.😳
The way CV's are shaping Arjun's character is turning out to be a complete disappointment. I've always supported and believed Rad's theory that Arjun isn't a bad person. He's just been misguided since childhood, which is true to a certain extent but what happened today cannot be justified. I understand his need to make Nandini happy, fulfil her dream/avenge her and what not. I am ready to overlook the fact that there is little sense in Nandini's plan. Technically Arjun has already done to Sam what Samrat did to Nandini, he's already married someone else and so 'avenged' her. I get that she's the only emotional connection he's had since he was little, closest thing to parental figure and all that blah blah blah. I accept all those reasonings but I am in no way ready to accept what happened today.
There was absolutely no reason to stoop to such an extent as to (attempt) to kiss Sam to make her believe that he still feels for her. The girl is already hell bent on taking revenge from her ex-bestfriend, a few sweet nothings and false promises is all he would've needed to convince her of his love. Not only did he make a mockery of his marriage but he disrespected his wife in front of Sam. What was the point in dragging Rad's away when Sam was humiliating her and feeling hurt for her when he's done the exact same thing today? And what exactly is he trying to achieve by saying that he'll behave like a husband if Rads behaves like a wife? What the hell is that supposed to mean? How can he possibly expect him to declare her undying love for him and be ready to jump in the sack? I get that it was just a way to get Rad's to back off but he could've done so without pressuring her into anything, After that scene in the loo, him pressuring Rad's to fulfil her 'wifely duties' just made him look like a desperate cheapo, which is not what his character is supposed to be. So far he's shown to be a grey character, a broken soul who needed to be saved from himself, someone who's been misguided all his life. Someone who's made very calculated moves for revenge, each actions have had some form of reasoning so far but I could not see any of that today though.
Radhika- I have nothing to say about her except, dump Arjun's hot ass and go fulfil your dreams girl and take Neil along with you if you can.
Neil!! I friggin loved Neil! He's the only one in that Birds nest with a brain! The scene in which he interrupted Arjun and Sam was well executed. I loved him telling off Sam even more. Thank God someone is trying to drill some sense into 'Nandini 2 in the making'! There's no denying that what Arjun did was awful and heartbreaking but she needs to understand that it was Arjun who deceived her, Arjun who was supposedly 'cheating' on her, NOT Radhika. So whats the point in taking it out on Radhika? Punish Arjun, humiliate him, kick him out! Admittedly I can imagine she is hurt by Rad's supposed betrayal but if she steps back and thinks logically, assuming Arjun was cheating on her, didn't Rad's just save her from marrying a two timing loser? Honestly all i've been wanting to do for the past two episodes is shake some sense into her, for heavens sake have some self respect woman! The man married your best friend in front of you, was supposedly cheating on you and you're just going to crawl back to him?! Have some faith in your friendship, at least confront your ex-best friend with an open mind. There's nothing you can do anymore, if he's already supposedly cheated on you once and claims he is ready to divorce his wife at the drop of a hat who's to say if you take him back that he won't leave you??
Neil telling Rad's telling to be pro-active today was hilarious; "Ek kaam karna ye mangalsutra kha lena, tanta he khatam ho jayega"--> that was priceless.😆I've always been more of an Arjun fan than Neil's but hands down, Neil's character has won me over today. He's undoubtedly proven himself to be a true friend to both both Rads and Sam. Thank God he didn't take any more of Sam's crap today and told her that his name his Neil. And finally she'll have to choose between him and Arjun. He's been mistreated and taken for granted by Sam for far too long and I'm glad he finally stood up to it today. As I said above I don't believe that Arjun and Sam deserve Rad's and Neil anymore, Rads should just sign the damn divorce papers and leave Birdsong to fulfil her dreams and Neil should leave along with her as well. As they say you never realise the value of what you have until you've lost it and its time Arjun and Sam realise the true value of Rad's and Neil in their lives.
Im sorry for the rant, this was supposed to be an episode analysis for today which has basically turned into post in which I've vented my frustrations.
