She questions him about his concern... He fumbles...She wants to extract the answer exactly in the way he wanted to in the storeroom. The role reversal...and she nailed it..should I say Radhika or Monica? It was Radhika's way of showing the two can play a game...and somewhere she knows where she is with him...she wants him to accept that he is a good person and it is that way he should live rather than hiding it. It was one step ahead from Radhika's side.
Then he decided to not answer it by the same method and upon pursuing her hesitation and Sir did it for him to say it, 'Jab saamna karne ki himmat na ho toh sote hue sher ko nahin jagate' . What a dialogue.
The simple meaning was in reference to the game two were playing.
I saw it as his way of saying when you are denying your feelings , how do you expect me to accept it and say it. You aren't ready for it which is why you say Sir so why do you expect that I would say I am concerned for you.
I may be overthinking though. But it was beautiful.
