I Love You

Radhika looked away, the sky looked gloomy and it was kinda chilly outside. It felt like a thousand years since that day, when really it have been about 2 weeks. That day...when she left him forever, promising not to look back even though all she wanted was to tell him how she felt.

"I love you" she said to herself. Her face embraced with a ghost of a smile.

She remembers how Sam told her to leave, how she should never come between the two of them. "He never loved me" she said, "but I do" she continued. Why is it that you often have to let of the one you truly love? "Why do you realize that you love him after everything is over?" she asked herself softly. It's true that she never felt this way about anyone. The prince stole the princess' heart and yet he had no clue about it.

She left him, because she thought he didn't love her, because she wanted him to stop suffering from the dilemma between his heart and mind. She knew she had to be strong even though it was killing her inside, everyday. She died a little every day, but she knew she will stand strong soon. That's how strong Radhika is.
"Radhika?" called out someone from behind. She turned around and was startled to say the least.

"Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave
How can I love when I'm afraid
To fall
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt
Suddenly goes away somehow
One step closer"

"Sir?" she blurted out and stared at him shocked. He smiled softly, his eyes brimming with emotions. It felt as if his heart will burst. He walked towards her and took her hands when he reached her. "I know that I messed up. Way too much. However, you have to believe me when I tell you this: I love you. I love you and I always will." She smiled up at him. "I love you, too. Arjun." she finished surprising herself and him in the process. He caressed her face smiled at her, pulling her close. He has been waiting for this moment ever since he fell in love with her and now they both admitted they belonged together. "Told you it will be special" he said and kept his forehead on hers. They finally were together, after all the storms and trials. Right now, they just wanted to be together.
