I think people need to understand that the only reason the story and script changed so dramatically and ended up drifting away from main premise was due to the lack of ratings.

And those rating would not come in at such a late time slot. If they had a earlier time slot the team of MM would have been able to continue on with the story that was always planned for this show to be about.

So I don't think the story is to be blamed at all rather then it should be SP's failure to give this show a chance right from the beginning because if they were smart and cared for this "experiment" of theirs, they would have given it the time slot it deserved!
