Hello all,
I have been following Swastik Productions since Navya times, then Mahabharata, and was eagerly waiting for this show to start. So I just wanted to share my excitement with you all about what I think of the show. I just want to talk about the characters. Hopefully the team sees my opinions and whoever else wants to share as well. 😊
Neil - started off with so much enthusiasm. First impression: he was way too cool. I was not a fan of him at first, but I like him now. His acting is just over the top. I completely love his acting, especially when he admits that he loves Sam in that episode and he goes "I love you, I love you okay?..." Ahhh, I completely adore that scene even till this date. I feel like Shravan is a really good actor. 👏
Samaira - umm, yeah not that much. I do not like the character as much. I mean I get that she is shown as a very modern city girl with dreams and ambitions. But I feel like she gets hypocritical sometimes, like the way it is going right now. She broke the relationship the first time saying that I trust Radhika the most, and today, she slapped Radhika saying because of you the relationship broke the first time. Being said that, I like how she tries to protect Radhika at times, but she still doesn't do a great job at it. Oh and of course, not to forget her breaking Neil's heart and isn't able to see his love for her. Instead, she sees love in Arjun who wants bad for her. So, technically, she is shown as not that smart that way that she can see reality. She is shown as someone who likes to enjoy herself by herself, and ignores even her close friends when she is having a good time herself. (Only talking about the character, Kashmira is pretty!) 😳
Arjun - Ahem is that dashing Karn from Mahabharata. They should give him more of a chilled out role I think. I mean like the CVs need to make Arjun's character a little less intense. I mean, in Mahabharata, Karn was a very intense character itself, and Arjun seems like pretty much the same type of character because you cannot see other expressions on his face, other than anger and smirks I feel. I hope his character folds out to be more bubbly, talkative, and chilled out - something that Ahem is not (or publicly that is his image). The Karn playing Arjun thing amuses me so much, I can't even explain. I am a hardcore die heart Mahabharata fan. So...😆
Radhika - I loveee Radhu. She is just amazing. I feel like she is the only real character in the show. One thing that I noticed though - in the first episode, they showed how she was so unconfident and nervous all the time, but now, she has become completely bold and outspoken. How did that happen? But anyway, that is a positive weird thing, so I don't mind it that much. Other than that, I love Radhika's character so much. She is helpful, always puts her friends before her, does anything for her friends, speaks the truth, speaks against something wrong, and oh boy, so brave is she! I completely love her character because the character is such an inspiration for the girls out there. She is very pretty too. Btw, Monika, I saw your youtube channel #jugaad, and I must say you are so damn talented. I am surely gonna make use of my old clothing and other things. No wonder, you are a pieces. 😳
Saral - Yaaarrr! Ab, I know, there has to be a villain in a love story, but itna stupid villain! He is shown as very stupid, yet real too I feel. There are people like him in the world and I know Swastik focuses on real life problems when they make their shows, so I get why they would put his character in the show. I feel like he is a great actor/dancer/action hero. haha You are already making me hate Saral so much, he is not that Saral man! 😛
The Changu, Mangu, and Teji are such a great addition to the friends group. I like them.
The show itself - AMAZING AMAZING! I was not active when Mahabharata was happening, but I must say I am a crazy, like literally crazy mad fan of Mahabharata. Swastik has done such an amazing job at expressing that huge book to the world in such an entertaining yet educational way. Swastik team is a dream to work with. Now, Manmarziyaan, I am really hoping to take something out of this show too, and I must say I am liking the show very much. I love the title tracks, the title page that runs when the show starts (with Samaira and Radhika walking, talking, laughing). I love Radhika's cloths in the show. I have started using Maybelline products after watching the show. 😳 Sidhnarth Tewari is very good looking, btw! ☺️
Thank you for making Navya, Mahabharata, and now Manmarziyaan. 👏👏👏
