Hi Everyone * Waves Shyly* I'm Lekha & I'm currently Writing My Very First Novel Called Manhattan Dream & I wanted to see If I can challenge my self & Try To ACTUALLY finish it

I am a massive Fan of Arjun & Radhika (I'm biased lol because all the times I tune in only ArDhika scenes are on lol😆)

I Digress ALL I ever wanted to do was see how my novel works out with Complex characters

Like Arjun & Radhika...

It's like a preview for my content I hope to publish sometime soo

Not exactly what I had in mind when writing this bit it goes with the flow.

Here's a part for you all. Not really proofread but if anyone wants to become my beta editor and get first dibs on the chapter can comment here.

Prologue?? Or is it part 1 you be the judge

Arjun was lost in thought about his childhood best friend he dubbed as his pixie butterfly.
He really missed his pixie. Especially when he was getting married to Aria's mom soon.

He was in Manhattan currently on work and holiday simultaneously with his daughter Aria. He had left her at the suite for a while. . He gets lost in thoughts about the past.
*Flashback*
An 8 year old Arjun Mehra was super excited to meet his new friend his mother was getting home. He was a rather shy boy for his age but he knew how to make his friendships last.
He remembered that his mom told him about how this girl was abandoned by her family. It made him sad but he was ready to make her happy by being that someone who is there for her.
His best friend Radhika had disappeared just a year after she had tumbled into the Mehra Family's life... Arjun remembers crying so badly when he got to know that a 5 year old Radhika Kapoor his best friend had gone missing. Just vanished into thin air
*Flashback Over*

Arjun's thought process was broken by his secretary Shelby knocking at the door.
Sir she says a little slowly and adds Your Wedding Planner Miss Radhika Gupta is here. She's here for her appointment with you she finishes with a smile.

Arjun groans and thinks god this must be one of Sameera's crazy know it all control freak planner friends I think. But smiles at Shelby and asks her to send her in. He straightens up and looks presentable.
He hears a soft knock on the door and thinks how polite this stranger is.
And he tells her to come in.

She neatly sets up and moves forward to shake hands with him which sends sparks to her bones. She thinks to herself this hand is so familiar. Arjun also feels the familiarity in the hand shake but doesn't comment. He firmly shakes her hand and introduces himself

Arjun Mehra. Nice meeting you Miss Gupta. He says with a lopsided smile.

Sir Radhika is just fine she says hesitantly. I'm here to plan yours and Sameera mam's wedding...
Little did both of them know their stories would intertwine with Sameera and her family

Again this wasn't what I was going for. Just a heads up. I'm making it up as we go with the storyline If you're throwing chappals at me a size 10 will be fine in gladiator sandals size please. If you're going to throw tomatoes make me a sandwich and throw it my way.
Currently updating through the phone so replies will be slower than normal. Will make grammatical changes when I'm back on laptop.

Love you all. And thanks for being amazing and encouraging me.

Next update will be probably tomorrow as scheduled but the timings would definitely change.

Hi.

Swaralika here.

Well, firstly your story is quite interesting. But before saying anything I just want you to know that I am NOT that great a writer. Still, if you read my fanfic here, and found it good, THEN ONLY PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I SAY. Because even I don't know whether I'm saying right or wrong.

Anyway, as I read through it, it seems to me that this is just the rough sketch. So, going by this, it would be better if you jot this down as the prologue. And then maybe, in the first chapter you could you know throw some light at their past. That might be able to you know give a kick sort of a thing to their personality.

P.S. I'm warning you DONOT take my opinion seriously. I'm very small to even give an opinion on this, but still. So it would be better if you first listen to what the experienced writers have to say. Because as far as I'm concerned, I definitely do not match your standards. So...

I gave you a warning before hand.😆

But, the start was good.
