Part Three
The sound of the twisting of the door knob woke Radhika from her uncomfortable nap. She winced in pain when she tried to move her tied arms.
She blinked open her eyes. Her eyes were misty as the pain. Her neck was aching badly due to the uncomfortable position she had slept in. A lone tear escaped her eye and the very next moment she felt his lips on her cheek, kissing.
His. Him. He was here.
She stared into his dark eyes. For her, the third best thing about him, were his eyes. The first two positions were taken by his caged heart and his heart melting smile.
Arjun gently caressed her neck, softly, as he stared back at her. Her face had this confused expression on her face but her eyes, they clearly showed the love she had for him though right now her expression were guarded.
He smiled softly as Radhika closed her eyes in relief and pleasure as Arjun eased the pain in her neck by applying soft pressure to it. He so much loved her!
Radhika let out a moan much to Arjun's discomfort. He internally groaned as he tried to simmer down the desire that was raging inside him. 2 weeks dam-it!!! Its been 2 weeks that he hadn't touched her, kissed her, felt her soft body against his hard one. 2 weeks he hadn't felt her soft arms around him, giving him her unconditional love, support, care and affection.
All his fault! He had realized that he loved Radhika after that accident in Khandala, when she had tried to save him. It was the moment he realized that Radhika mattered a lot to him, enough that he can even die for her and without a second thought, he'd kill for her too.
But then again, when he saw Samrat Khanna along Piyali, Samaira, Neil and the three idiots at the hospital trying to make Radhika smile, he was again reminded of Nandu's tears, her pain and her cries. The betrayal that Samrat had gifted Nandu, his Nandini Di on their wedding day.
He then tried to continue his plan of revenge and tried, tried hard to ignore Radhika, be rude to her, more than before. But he forgot a single thing that Radhika was no less than him. She stood up against him and fought hard. And a day came when he let down his guard and had confessed to her that he loved her.
Radhika was hesitant at first because he was her best friend's ex after all and she herself was engaged. But like the day that love knows no bounds, soon Radhika too gave in. Their love was passionate and all consuming.
But he had kept things from her. Hidden from her that side by side he was trying to woo Samaira back. Two timing moron, she had called him as she had cried and cried.
With Radhika, he was the real him, loved her, showered her with care and affection. With her, he was imperfectly perfect.
And with Samaira, he acted cool and composed all the time. Alluring devil. The perfect guy anyone could have but it was all a facade.
For few months all went fine. He was balancing both, his love and his revenge perfectly but it all got unbalanced when Radhika saw him romancing Samaira.
He witnessed her breaking down. Tried to go after her but she had already ran away. And Samaira was unaware of all thus as she hadn't noticed Radhika who went away as silently as she had came.
That night he met Radhika again and explained everything to her but the girl that Radhika is, she tried to put some sense in him, tried to make him understand that bygones should be bygones, that he had no right to punish Samaira for none fault of hers. But the idiot and stupid guy he was, he hadn't paid heed to her words and had left her heart broken for his revenge.
And the very next day she had left. Left her job, left Mumbai and went back to Hrishikesh. He had pretended as if it didn't mattered to him but deep inside he knew it did.
4 days back, he learnt from Samaira that Radhika was getting married. And that pushed the right buttons! He had the perfect chance to complete his revenge but he couldn't do a thing about it because the feeling of Radhika going too far and getting married to someone else was unbearable. It hurt bad.
So finally he had broken up with Samaira, explained to her that he loved Radhika and fortunately for him Samaira too was trying to break up with him as she was in love with Neil.
So he had packed his bags and travelled all the way to Hrishikesh. And the first thing that he did was a chat with Saral the "so called" fianc of Radhika.
But that idiot, he instead of helping to unite two lovers, manipulated Radhika and fed her lies about him and Samaira, just to get married to Radhika.
And not finding any other way, he kidnapped Saral and got married to Radhika.
"Let me go..please.." Radhika pleaded softly. Her words brought him back from his thoughts.
"No way wifey! Not before you hear me out but before all that you need to eat. You haven't eaten anything since morning. I brought you some fruits, your favourite pizza with extra cheese and our favourite chocolate almond fudge." Arjun winked at her and he brought the food tray in front of Radhika.
The mention of food was enough to make Radhika realize the presence of the hungry rats that were creating a havoc inside her stomach. She eyed that pizza with hungry eyes. Her anger towards Arjun took a backseat and her hunger too the front.
She gave Arjun a pleading look and Arjun grinned back at her. He put a piece in front of her and she Radhika was about to take a bite, Arjun moved his hand back.
He did this twice but an angry huff from Radhika and Arjun stopped his antics. He knew that she was very hungry so he didn't teased her any further. He lovingly fed her pizza but he still had few things in his mind.
A deep sigh of satisfaction left Radhika's lips as she finished chewing the last bite of pizza. Arjun smirked at her, thinking about her reaction to what he's gonna do the next.
"No its my turn.." Radhika looked at Arjun who had this evil smirk on his face as he brought a plate if fruits in front of her.
"Don't look at me like that sweetheart..."
Radhika interrupted him, "Kitni baar kaha hai that don't call me sweetheart or by any other name like this. It sounds too much sweet and that coming from you is deadly sweet. Yuck!! Sweetness isn't your cup of tea Mr. Mehra!"
Arjun chuckled, "I know that!But I also know that you are my life to me, that I can't live without you."
"Arjun.."
"Forget that! Focus on our current situation. See I fed you now its your turn to feed me! Come on Radhika, feed me the fruits.."
Radhika eyed the pieces of orange, slice of apple and mangoes and some grapes, that were neatly placed in that plate.
"Damn..your demands are rising!! How can I feed you with my hands tied like this?"
Arjun acted as if contemplating about something. He tapped his chin with his finger for a minute and then brightened up with a mischievous smile appearing at his lips.
"I'll show you how to feed me, okay?!"
Radhika looked at him with evident horror present in her features. Arjun was most dangerous when he was mischievous. Past experiences were the proof of it.
"Arjun...what are you upto??" she asked with a warning tone in her voice.
Before she could say something else, Arjun placed a slice of apple in between her lips and then leaned close to her. All this made Radhika's eyes widen.
Arjun leaned further and softly bit into the apple slice that Radhika was holding between her lips. Their lips brushed lightly but enough to bring the usual spark back that always heightened their senses whenever they kissed.
Radhika swallowed the other half piece of that apple slice, trying to prevent a moan. As if the light brush wasn't enough, Arjun sucked her lower lip wiping the traces of juice off her lips.
Radhika felt warmth all over her body. She blushed, her cheeks turning red.
Arjun smirked at her and said, "Now now...you know how to feed me na. Let's finish all these too."
Both Arjun and Radhika eyed the plate full of fruits.
