A wonderful post! Samaira is my favorite character because of how much she stands out compared to the rest of the Indian TV heroines. I connect with her because her character is layered with an equal balance of strengths and flaws. The best part? They don't try to cover up her mistakes. The writers have done a beautiful job of providing her character with the depth and substance that makes you feel for her. I also really like both Neil and Arjun's characters.

That isn't to say I hate Radhika or that she isn't likeable because she is but...fortunately/unfortunately I've seen so many characters like her that those kinda characters have lost the appeal/interest for me. I also couldn't connect with her because of how easily she obtained a job in a company and not seeing her struggle wasn't very realistic to me. I think her character does have potential if they are able to capture her dreams and aspirations more and come into her own! That's probably why I like Neil wth her because she seems spontaneous and loosens up with him. (But I find her better than the likes of Sandhya type vahus lol) However, if Radhika wasn't different from Sam and she wasn't the way she was shown, the chemistry and contrast wouldn't have come out so well between the two of them. This friendship story wouldn't have had the same charm! ❤️
This show has something to offer to a lot of different audiences which is great!

I completely agree with you. I also relate with sam. No offense but radhika irritates me. All the promos and everything is based on radhika radhika n radhika.. Where i see sam's charecter is more appealing amd u can explore mane shades of human traitts through sam. At imes she is mean, she laughs , she cries. she is both vulnerable and strong. Just loving every shade of her charecter. While radhika the goody goody perfect chirpy typical tv girl... We have seen alot like that in the past.. Girl coming to sheher to pursue her dreams and so on... But sam's story is being portrayed in a completely different way. The way she struggles to balance her friendhip and love it amazes me... How she differs from her mom in opinion and then loved by her dad. Sam is just imperfectly perfect ! Loving every but of her... And on top of that when arjun is around her ... The chemistry explodes !!!! This show would have been one of the top shws if samrj were promoted imstead.

hello all. well i av been a silent reader of this forum but i this post has made me break the silence.
Well trps are integral part of tv industry. If u are working hard then u want to make money. Bringing the fresh content on tv is an attempt going on from several years and manmarzian definitely is a fresh change.
I like sam she is brave, independent and confident gal but i feel she is more dumb than raadhika.
I mean come on who stays overnight with a stranger ?
Sam is egoistic and can go to any extent jst to prove herself right.
Whereas raadhika is innocent. It takes a lot of courage for a middle class gal like her to come out and fullfill her dreams.
I am striclty against those typical saas bahu shows bt that doesn't mean I can call all the viewers of saas bahu shows as trp aunties.
We all are young generation and expect new and fresh concepts and good content on tv but the shows that u av mentioned are again typical cliched shows.
Be it ipkknd or rr. I did not like any of them. So its all our perception and views. It's gud that u like samraj but i feel raneil are equally gud..

Well I don't think RaNeil story will be marked for TRP aunties, Neil is really awesome but yaah Radz is still a TRP aunty girl .. typical naive and goody to shoe .. seriously we have enough of them on Indian TV .. for God sake girls don't need to be plain and innocent to be heroin .. A flawed, bitchy, strong and independent girl are much real and that's why I connect with Sam .. girl like Radz belongs to Hindi TV only but Hindi show lovers love the naive babies who gets a job magically .. what to do

However, SamArj and RaNeil have to go a long way before we can make the differentiate and tag them as TRP aunty material or New Age .. for me as long as the show has urban classy feel I am in else US & UK TV have cool shows to offer

it is unrealistic. In society people not innocent and naive. In Indian shows its hyped perfect innocent girls sacrificing, Mahan and do any thing for family blah blah. In reality they are not people like that. we feel anger jealousy hatred love ego it Is human nature and we all flawed no one is perfect in the world. In fact God's are not perfect but Indian soap herione so perfect that we can't find any flaws like they are not humans like they are Angeles. And Sam is a perfect normal girl who Is some times dumb and some times intelligent some time strong and some times weak some times innocent and it's the way I liked it. I don't want to her become sweet innocent naive girl

^^ as I said in some previous topic, Hindi TV shows can make Disney princesses ashamed with the display of Mahanta and goodness of their heroins 😆

>: This! Exactly! Not only is perfection boring but it's unrealistic because nobody is perfect. I do hope they don't ruin their wonderfully etched character themselves!
