Hey Everyone..

New topics- Prior posting a new topic make sure someone has not already posted that topic before. And if you do so the topic will be deleted or closed. PLEASE PLEASE AND PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY TOPIC REQUESTING FOR VIDEOS OR UPDATE!!! There is a help desk you can ask there.

Appropriate Language- Please respect everyone, treat everybody as you would like to be treated. Don't fight or create any type of conflicts. It should be a happy friendly forum. If you happen to come across any post like that, please report that post.

Articles Posting- When posting an article please give credit to the site or provide an URL address. If you fail to do so then that article will be deleted.

Caps Lock- Don't post an entire message in CAP LOCK. CAP LOCK means shouting which is not proper. so please do not use caplock.

Advertisement- You can not advertise for any website or group site in this forum. An advertisement of any form is forbidden at India Forums.

The "THANK YOU" Option- if you would like to thank any member for any post. Use the "THANK YOU" button located at the bottom of the post instead of posting a one line post such as "thanks, thank you, tfs, and etc.

Picture Gallery- There shall be NO COMMENTS in the Picture Gallery section. Before you post a picture make sure somebody haven't posted the picture before. Do Not post any unappreciated image, if you fail to obey that rule, somebody from IF Administration Team Member will be dealing with you strictly.

Unrelated Topics- please do not post any unrelated topic meaning any topic that is not reverent to the show or any of the cast members. Or please do not post massage addressing to the actors, actress, or any crew members for example: Hey Bukha, you are really beautiful and such a good actress I love you! Because India Forums is a fan site only we can not sent any messages to the actors or the crew members.

2)How to put pic in avatar?

Go to SETTINGS (located in the bar below the banner)
select EDIT PROFILE
In the avatar section, Click on UPLOAD AVATAR
select the required Avatar and OK
Hit PREVIEW
click on UPDATE PROFILE

3)What constitutes SPAMMING?

#excessive repeatition of a post or topic
#posts that are not in contest with the topic at hand and are just meant #to increase the number of posts.
#posts with meaningless content
#posts with only emoticons

4) Why is my avatar pic not showing/ or not uploading?

#Image is too big (exceeding 40kb size)
#Images are not in jpg, jpeg, gif, png format. Change the format to one of #these and the image should then upload.
#The image file has been moved from its origonal position in ur computer. #In this case go back and re upload the picture

5)How do I post a pic on forum or How do I upload a pic?

1. Create a photo hosting account at a free photo hosting site like https://photobucket.com/

2. Login to the site using ur password and username.

3. Now upload pics from ur PC to the photo hosting site.

For eg:

4. Click on Browse,then find out where ur file is and click Submit as shown above.

5. Ok now after the photo upload you can find a column down where the details of photo are mentioned.

For eg:

6. Ok now to paste that photo onto the forum click on the img column of that box and copy the img link given.

7. Then Paste the Link while Post/Replying a Topic.

8. Only paste the Img Link of the photo you want to upload.

For eg:

Suppose I want to paste my Indian-Idol Banner, I will paste the link

And the banner will appear

6) What must be the size of my Avataar & Signature?

Signatures :

1. Signatures may contain up to three lines (one line being that displayed on a browser opened to 600px width) of text (of small or normal size) and/or possibly one image (read farther for specifics), valid combinations include; a single image of no more than 150px high, 500px wide and 50KB in size. Signatures containing an image of 60px high or less may also include one line of small size text. Signatures containing an image of 15px high or less may include two lines of small size text. A maximum of 1 link is allowed to Newbies, Groupie and Senior Members. 2 Links is allowed to Goldie & IF-Dazzler.
2. Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, warez, emoticons, etc.
3. Links are permitted in signatures. Such links may be made to non-India Forums material, non-profit ventures, etc. Links are included within the text and image limits above. Links to offensive sites, Yahoo Groups and competitors site may be subject to removal. Link removal is at the soul discretion of our Moderating & Support Team.
4. Users abusing these rules will be warned and may be banned if they do not adhere to the rule.

Avatars :

1. Users are permitted to utilize a gallery avatar or to upload one of their own. User defined avatars are to be no larger than 96 pixels by 96 pixels, contain no image which attempts to portray the user as having an official status here (e.g. mimiking ranks or copying avatars of team members), and may not exceed 50KB in filesize.
2. Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, etc.
3. Users abusing these rules will be warned and/or may lose their avatar privileges.

If still doesnt help contact any Moderator or viewbie.

10) I am a newbie. Can I post update?

Anyone can post update but it must not be copied from any other site. It must be their own written. If any newbie wants to post update ask the regular updater before posting as they spend their time to write updates only to find that update is already posted.

11)What is Newbie,Goldie,Coolbie,IF Dazzler,Viewbie,IF Rockers?

** 0-50 posts : Newbie

** 50- 200 posts : Groupie

** 200-1000 posts: Senior member

** 1000-3000 posts : Goldie

**3000 and above : IF Dazzler

**5000 and above : IF Rockers

Viewbies are members selected by admin and global mods who have limited Mod powers.

Coolbies are members who update any show on regular basis. Thanx a lot Coolbies!. Coolbies are very important for all members as thousands of people depend on their update.

Videobies are members who provide Videos.Thanks alot Videobies! They are the most important people who save people who dont get Sahara abroad.

Thanks for the info..if this is allowed..can I ask to be one of the Mods/GM etc...though I may not be able to be a viewbie because I don't get Sahara here..will try to get my parents to buy it soon though..

You can only become a Mod or GM after becoming a viewbie.😳
