Seema and Namita. When Urmi said it I thought it has to do with Samrat...but when Shaurya said it...there was more to it or the CV would like a door open for more.

Agree Seema...wait and watch because right now no idea where they are going with the story and still hoping for more than just a love story and some twist.

U raised very nice points Ani. 😊 Shaurya as a character has so much to reveal and explore its depth. 😳 It'd be very nice, how this character is presented ultimately. Thnx. U hint many ways. 😊

Shaurya already has a dark secret - he was abused as a child. That is the darkest and most awful thing a child can go through. As Namz said, an abusive childhood is more than enough to leave behind emotional/mental scars. It is not always necessary for an abused child to grow up to be excessively aggressive.
As human beings we all possess the tendency to be both good and bad. What inhibits these tendencies is the society we live and the circumstances we grew up in. In recent events, especially in regards to Diya's rape case, Shaurya had many moments where he could have easily lashed out and beat someone up (Karan). Instead, he kept calm and rational because of what his father was like. The image of his father is in the back of his mind and it constantly reminds him of what he shouldn't be. That's why we see him control his anger for so long.

Will there be a time when he completely loses control? Probably.

Will this be taken in good light by the family? Most likely not. They will most likely equate him to be following in his father's footsteps sending him deeper into self-loathe.

Shaurya is spending so much of his time trying so hard not to be like his father that he is preventing himself from being who he truly is.

You've pretty much summed Shaurya up nicely Susi.
